Accessible achievements for people with disabilities.
Hello, Dear Behaviour.
I'm having a problem that I can't get achievements with friends in the DBD game. The fact is that I am disabled and it’s hard for me to play with random people, and I also like to get achievements in games. My friends help me a lot, but in this game I feel lonely and abandoned. We played on Friday the 13th The Game, I was able to get platinum there thanks to my friends. I love the horror genre since childhood, I really want to get platinums, on PS4 and PS5, in your game, but playing with random people is unattainable for me. My friends and I buy all your DLCs in the hope that we can play together and get achievements together. At the moment, I have bought all the DLS from me, except for the last four. In addition to my disability, I am also Ukrainian, you yourself know what is happening in the world now, so I try to distract myself with triple persistence and go into games. Please make it so that I can play with friends and get achievements, thus you will save my life.
I wouldn't write to your if we could make achievements. Because of my disability, we always lose to maniacs when we play together - friends try to help me, and in the end we all die. :( I tried to play as a maniac more than once, for all the time I won only one victory, I always get on people of high rank, although I am at the very bottom of the leaderboard. I have no knowledge of maps, the necessary perks, plus it is difficult for me to play on equal terms with ordinary healthy people, that's why I decided to contact you.I'm sure that I'm not the only person who wants to get all the achievements in the DBD game, but can't due to certain opportunities.I wrote you about the Friday the 13th game, there we were able to do everything achievements in the closed lobby, we had a lot of fun, I am very grateful to my friends for their patience and kindness towards me. I want to return to that time, especially now. :(
I understand your concerns that people can abuse closed games and, for example, farm currency. But, this is still happening now, when we start playing, we receive messages like farm / boost / no kill. Therefore, you can make a closed mode, without any rewards, where you can just get achievements with friends. I understand that any work should be paid, so my friends and I buy all DLC and cosmetics for real money to say our thanks to you for your work.
I understand that my problem is very specific, but I am who I am - a sad, life-shattered person who was not lucky enough to draw a short match at birth. But, I try not to despair and find an outlet in getting achievements in my favorite games, one of which is DBD.
Sincerely, Maxim.

Not everything should be accessible for every type of a problem, deal with it.
Achievements are optional and useless to whole experience. And they are called "Achievements" for a reason - work for them.

Thank you very much for your answer and information.
All people are different, getting achievements my life gets better, I forget about my disability and the situation in the world. I understand what you mean for me to Git Gud, but this is not possible due to my disability. My friends know and help me when I have seizures. Random players just kill/run away while mocking. :(
If getting achievements will help at least some number of people - is it bad?

Hate to say it like that but… at that point, why should there even be achievements?
i really get how you feel left out here but it is an online multiplayer game first and foremost. While SWF is an option for survivors to play together, a public game is supposed to be against random opponents.
i am always for accessibility settings and options in such big videogames but achievements aren’t fundamental for the gaming experience per se and you can still experience the whole game either in public matches or with your friends in private sessions and I think you should focus more on that.

Thank you very much for your support. Unfortunately, I no longer take offense at such comments in life, and even more so on the Internet. I understand that I am not like everyone else, I accepted and put up with it.

Thank you very much for your reply. Achievements are one of the available types of entertainment, all people have a different approach to them - someone gets everything on their own, someone gets everything with friends, someone does not pay attention to them at all. And all positions are correct, people should have a choice. When you have a choice, it's great. I can’t speak for all people, but for me, achievements and video games are one of the reasons to continue to live, they help me move on, despite the situation in the world and my disability.
Now about the fact that DBD is an online game - yes, you are absolutely right, but above I gave an example with another online game - Friday 13th the Game. The developers not only gave players the choice of where to get achievements (public, closed game), but also later released a patch with game settings, which made it possible to get achievements much faster. As a token of our gratitude, we bought every cosmetic DLC that was available.
I don't know how relevant the problem of getting achievements from DBD players is, I can only speak for myself and my friends - for us, getting achievements in private lobbies will be a miracle and a second birthday.
