Fan Chapter: Adrift At Sea (Map, Killer, And Survivor idea)

Hello hello, here is my next fan chapter! I want a pirate themed killer basically. And also another handicapped survivor like Ash. So that’s what I did here! The Pirate killer I created is actaully based off real life famous pirate, Zheng Yi Sao (also known as Ching Shih). Please let me know what you think!

Map: The Phoenix Fleet (Withered Isle)

Along the shore of the island, a new sight was placed there. A group of pirate ships. A dozen in total, half are still floating in the water, moored together with planks and ropes. The other ships are in various states of repairs, either nearly completely destroyed, or half sunken, resting on the shallow shore. Collected by the Entity and placed along the shore of the Withered Isle, this place serves to spark a rage within the Pirate.

I thought a group of pirate ships would make for a interesting map! I decided to place it on Withered Isle cuz idk where else it could go.

She wears dark trousers, a leather belt with two sword sheaths and dark leather boots. She wears a black tricorn hat with gold Chrysanthemum designs on it as well. Her clothes and long black hair are constantly soaked, her hair in wet clumps that cling to her face and neck, like water is constantly flowing over her (the water puddles around her feet but disappears after a bit). Her beige skin is tinted green/blue, and her skin is tight against her body, looking as if someone placed a skin along a skeleton.

Background

Wang Shi was an intelligent girl born to a poor family filled with many sisters. Her parents could not afford to feed everyone in the small home and soon Wang Shi notice her older sisters begin to disappear when they reached a certain. When she ask about them, her parents just responded with silence. She soon got her answer though. Her sister were sold to brothels by her parents for hefty prices and that Wang Shi was the next to be sold. Who can blame Wang Shi when later that night she snuck into her parent’s room while they slept and slit their throats. Wang Shi ran from home soon afterwards leaving her younger siblings to be the ones to find their parent’s bodies as the young woman searching for a means of survival. It’s seems ironic than Wang Shi’s search ended up with her working in a brothel, but she preferred this as her own choice rather than her parents. So the day when the infamous pirates, Phoenix crew, visited the brothel to unwind, Wang Shi jumped at that moment. She seduced the Pirate captain, Yin Lee to such a degree that he took her from the brothel and married her. From then on Wang Shi gained a new life on the sea and a new name; Yin Mei. Yin Mei stood by her husband’s side obediently. Cared for his needs and wants. Always by his side during the meetings and his plans. Yin Mei absorbed every little detail there was; invasion plans, Yin Lee’s sword fighting style, his strategies, names of Allies, names of enemies, best places to pillage, an old injury in Yin Lee’s leg that slowed him down, etc. A night came when the crew came under attacked, a rival pirate crew attacked them at the dead of night, the crew later finding out that their looks outs had their throats slit. The battle through the night was long and bloody, Yin Lee, Yin Mei and the rest of the crew fought long and hard. Yin Lee let out a cry as someone slashed a blade through his leg, forcing him down as Yin Mei hurried to watch over her husband. But it didn’t take long for the rival crew to suddenly call a retreat, revised it their own ship and leaving. Yin Lee’s crew, too exhausted from their night long battling to chase after, instead worked in healing injuries and taking care of the fallen. Yin Lee was taken cared for by Yin Mei as his leg healed. But quickly Yin Lee fell ill, Yin Mei and the crew soon realizing that the leg was badly infected. Yin Lee didn’t last much longer afterwards, his last words being his love for Yin Mei and leaving her as captain of the Phoenix Crew. At least this is what Yin Mei told the Phoenix crew. Distraught over the death of their captain, they believed what she told them. As they prepared both Yin Lee’s body and Yin Mei’s new status, Yin Mei quickly tucked something away with in Yin Lee’s body. A small dagger and a bottle of toxins. The first part of her plan was now finally complete and now it was time for the next step. The Phoenix crew’s infamous reputation seemingly grew over night. Yin Mei was a brilliant strategist and leader. She commanded the Phoenix crew with an iron fist. She and her crew slaughter other protea captains and gave the crews a choice: join her crew, die, or be taken as prisoner. Most wisely chose to join. The measly single ship became a fleet of nearly a dozen ships with a full crew for each ship. With her crew grown, Yin Mei took to take care of business. The Phoenix crew raided villages, killing, pull against and taking prisoners to sell later. They ambush cargo ship after cargo ship, taking anything from gold, silver, fine silks, opium and more. It didn’t take long for governments, such as the British and Chinese governments, to take notice of the newly enlarge Phoenix crew and ordered a bounty on them. But anyone who tried had their heads sent back to their families. It was a war between Yin Mei and several governments, but Yin Mei outsmarted and outclassed them all. Finally the British government called on a meeting with Yin Mei, which she accepted. They offer her a partnership with the British East Indian Company. They ask her to take prisoners she had taken and have them be sent to Dyer Island. A scientist of there’s is in need of “willing” test subjects for experiments. And in return for her help, the Phoenix crew will be under the British’s protection. While suspicious, Yin Mei agreed. From then on, throughout the Opium War, The Phoenix crew capture prisoners after prisoner, taking them to Dyer Island dinner afterwards. It didn’t matter to Yin Mei, it wasn’t any of her concern anyways. This was just part of her deal. The Phoenix crew’s reputation grew, more and more they became what seemed like an unstoppable force. The day came though when Yin Mei had received an urgent request to transfer a group of soldiers from a small village and take them to dyer island. Something about a serum they had taken had starting making them deeply agitated. The health of the soldiers was the last thing Yin Mei cared for as the sea grew harsher and unforgiving. An instinct of hers whispered something was not right but she brushed it off, the sooner they got this form, the better. She ships made it to this shore of the village, Yin Mei and her crew stepping on to the docks, only to be met with a gruesome sight. Blood and bodies everywhere, bodies either torn to sheafs and tossed aside, bodies impaled on what looked like the blades of bayonets, and bodies hanging from trees. Staring at the massacre, Yin Mei noticed a figure approaching, a soldier, but something was deeply wrong. His veins bulged under his skin, his eyes wild and nearly popping out of his head. He appeared to had been searching the skin off his neck with his knife as his bulging eyes finally met with Yin Mei’s. The man let out a animalistic screech, and one by one more feral soldiers came bursting from the massacred village and running toward the Phoenix crew. Yin Mei drew her sword and screamed for her crew to retreat to the ships. But the soldiers were faster, colliding with the crew. Blades swing and blood flew everywhere. Bodies collapsed to the ground as both teams fought with all their might. But the feral soldiers seem to just shrug off the attacks, and struck back harder. The Phoenix crew was pushed back, to the docks, their numbers being cut down quickly. Yin Mei slashed with her Dao again and again, cleaving the necks of the soldiers, only for more to take their place. Yin Mei and what was left of her crew managed to aboard her ship, half the crew getting the sails ready and untying the ropes as the other still fought in vain. In the chaos, Yin Mei felt the winds grow louder. The winds crashed against the port, the waves beat against the ship, breaking it loose of the docks. The winds seem to take up a mind of their own, pushing the ship away from the docks, trapped in a Cyclone of the hurricane. The fighting still persists on the ship, Yin Mei’s crew having being cut down immensely, but so had the soldiers. What’s left of the crew finally began to push back against the feral soldiers as Yin Mei took to the helm, attempting to steer the ship away from the storm as fast as possibly. The next second, Yin Mei screamed, as a knife was sunk into her shoulder blade and meeting the same bulging eyes of the soldier before. Yin Mei witness the eyes literally pop open as the feral soldier screamed another animalistic screech, before Yin Mei swung her blade, the soldier’s head cleaving right off his shoulders and rolled away. But Yin Mei’s distracted was too much. The ship sails ripped apart against the winds and the ship was forced on its side, capsizing. Yin Mei open her eyes in the murky water, her leg was caught in some ropes as she was dragged down. The bodies of her crew along with pieces of her ships sunk with her. Everything she worked for was gone. Every plan she made and every strategy taken was gone just like that. Pride and rage filled her as water filled her lungs. No. No. She refused to let this end. She wasn’t finish yet. She refuse to lose everything now. A black mist snaked through the water, pulling Yin Mei down into the darkness.

Weapon: Dao

The Pirate uses a long, razor sharp sword to inflict precise and deadly blows. After hitting a survivor, she wipes the blood off on her leg.

Power: Curse of the Sea

A gift was given to the Pirate, something both familiar and completely new. A compass once belonging to her late husband, now infused with the wrath of the sea.

Special Ability: Hurricane.

The Pirate can use her compass to conjure up powerful storms when she locks on to a survivor (the compass will spin wildly as the storm is created). All survivors will be effected by the storm, however the storm will follow one survivor around for a short while before fading away.

Survivors in the storm’s radius will have their vision slightly reduced by the heavy rain, will have their hearing slightly muffled by the sound of rain/wind/thunder, and will be slightly hindered (by 2.5%)

Requires a recharge between each storm (30 seconds).

Storms last 45 seconds.

Storms have a radius of 45 meters

The storms will show on maps, signal by a hurricane-like pattern.

Special Attack: Riptide.

The Pirate can use her compass to create powerful currents of water/wind to shove around and knock down survivors.

The longer the Pirate holds the charge, the more powerful the current is.

Quick charges create shorter range attacks that can push survivors away in whatever direction the wave goes. (10 meter range)

Full charges create longer range attacks that can knock survivors down to the ground (16 meters and knocks survivor down for 2 seconds)

Knocked Down Survivors can be picked up instantly but does no damage.

Perks: Scourge Hook: Dead Man Tells No Tale, Gives No Quarters and Hex: Hubris

Scourge Hook: Dead Man Tells No Tale: Make your prey as good as dead. At the start of the Trial, 4 random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks. The auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white. When you hook a survivor reaches the second stage on a scourge hook, the Entity will fight harder to keep them. When another survivor attempts to save them while they are on the second stage, they will meet with a difficult skill check. Failing the skill check will prevent the survivor from being saved from the hook. Each time a survivor is sacrificed on a scourge hook, gain 50/75/100% more bloodpoints in the Sacrifice Category.

“The look on a man’s face when he realize that I’m about to end his life…truly pathetic” -Yin Mei

Gives No Quarters: Let fear overrun your prey, even in their small victories. Successfully Sabotaging Hooks or Traps will place the Exposed status on the survivor for 10 seconds and have their aura revealed for 4/7/10 seconds. Sabotaging will cause a Loud Notification for the killer.

“When I found out that my parents were selling my sisters to brothels, I had no problem slitting their throats ear to ear. No one makes a choice in my life except me” -Wang Shi

Hex: Hubris: Let your prey drown in their own Pride like how you did. After 3/2/1 survivors have been downed is when this hex perk activates. Will be applied to any remaining Dull Totems. When a survivor works on a generator, they are unable to leave that generator until they receive a Great Skill Check or they get picked up by the killer.

“I’m sorry my dear husband. I wish it didn’t have to be this way, but only I can bring this crew to its highest potential and you would just only get in the way” -Yin Mei

Mori Killing: The Pirate kicks the survivor, using her boot to force them on their back. She then slashed her sword against their chest, creating a long, bloody cut along their torso. The survivor screams as they try to cover themselves and roll away, but a hard kick to the head stops them. The Pirate the swipes another long cut across their torso, creating a bloody X. The Pirate then brings up her sword high into the air and stabs down in the center of the X, making the survivor cry out. The Pirate finishes the killer by sharply twisting the sword, killing the survivor.

As a teenager, Danni went on a hiking trip with friends and soon was dared to scale up a side of a mountain ridge. Things turns grim in a heartbeat as a slip up causes Danni to fall followed by a few large rocks. The last thing Danni remembered was hitting the ground and the rocks coming down afterwards. When she awoke, she was dazed and confused, her family members and doctors in the room with her. The last thing she did was let out a soft sob as she saw her right leg was gone. Hours later, Danni finally woken and stayed conscious long enough for the doctors to explain that the combination of the fall and the rocks landing on her completely crush and ruined her leg, forcing the hospital to amputee it. Danni had never felt more restless in her life, feeling phantom itches and pains in her non-existent leg, wanting to stretch it out, but knowing its not there. So when a prosthetist came snd ask her if she wanted to learn to walk again, she was more than ready to accept it. It was long and difficult, more difficult than what Danni was expecting. Each step felt like needles in the nerves in the stump that were once her leg. But Danni refused to quit, she wanted to move again. Days turns to weeks, then to months, but Danni soon was able to not only just walk, but run and jump and climb and sprint and leap and more. Danni finally accepted her prosthetic as her leg, and learn to adapt. Danni didn’t feel like her old self again, but this new version of her she became very comfortable with. Soon Danni left the rehabilitation center snd was back to going on her adventures, hiking, cycling, swimming, climbing and just…exploring again. Danni felt alive again. Once day, Danni packed up and decided to take a vacation traveling toward the west coast, wanting to visit a beach. Deciding she wanted to give windsurfing a try, she learned what she needed to know and began practicing. She wiped out many time, finding herself underwater multiple times, but she was never deterred. Hours pass and she finally got a hang on it. Danni can feel a larger gust about to come in, so she readied herself. In no time, the wind hit her sail and she was propelled away from the shallows. She laughed to herself as she held on tight, feeling the spray of the sea hit her. She suddenly found herself being raised upward, Danni realizing she had also caught a wave. Laughing even louder, she cheered as both the wind and waves raised her up high, her adrenaline pumping. She glanced and notice something in the water was next to her, going the same speed as her. A black mass, gliding under the water. Before she can process anything next, the mass suddenly came close and grabbed on to her board, snapping it in half. The next seconds was a blur to Danni, but she was wide enough unhook her feet before the board completely cracked. She let go of the sail and crashed through the water, the pieces of her board and sail flying in different directions. Danni’s world spun as she flailed in the Ayer for a second then quickly swam upward toward the surface. She broke through, managed a gulp of air when something grabbed on to her leg and pulled her back under. She couldn’t tell what was grabbing her, the water had considerably darkened. She kicked and fought as the black fog surrounded her, swallowing her whole.
