This isn't going to be super helpful but unfortunately it's kind of true...

As you play Bubba more and more, you'll get a better sense of your surroundings. It takes time and it takes effort because his hit box can be wonky as hell. You get a decent sense of how tight you can take corners and what little things around the map he runs into (even though you shouldn't have).

For general tips, don't even bother trying to use your chainsaw around window loops like double Ls or The Shack unless you're REALLY confident you're going to get the hit. You're better off either just bopping them in the head with your mallet or ideally abandon chase and go for someone else. Bamboozle can be a really good perk with him since windows are really his primary weakness (I personally don't use it as I found it is better to have a slowdown perk since Double Ls can still get you in trouble as you can only bamboozle one window at a time).

If a survivor is running around a REALLY tight loop (like a tree or a rock), stop and go the other way. It's really really hard to catch them chasing them around the loop but as long as you don't run into the object turning back around (and even then, the survivor might run into you anyway), it's an easy down.

    Hope something in here helps

Thanks but I still don’t understand why people say he’s better than others cause atleast Billy can curve and slinger can counter windows and hit long ranges

    Bubba has none of that

    1. Visualize the distances that your chainsaw can cover before using the chainsaw. You should know if you are in distance to hit the chainsaw before utilizing the chainsaw.
    2. Time each individual chainsaw token charge to maximize the distance of the chainsaw. Chili add-on extend duration of his chainsaw, while beast marks increases his speed.
    3. Understand your hitboxes of each individual object in the game and how to best curve the object.
    4. Avoid window loops whenever possible. know when to use an m1 over your chainsaw. It is possible to hit chainsaw even when a survivor uses a window, but failure to predict whether the survivor vaults the window will result in a long cooldown. Bamboozle is excellent perk on Leatherface to mitigate his short-comings.
    5. Avoiding breaking consecutive amount of pallets with leatherface. Utilizing his fast pallet to zone the survivor into bad positions especially in the corner of maps. Leatherface pallet break is among fastest pallet breaks in the game allowing him to zone pallets to set up instant downs.

He's not that easy to pick up and play if your new to him. Practice makes perfect.

I like Bubba way more because I have a ton of trouble with Billy and his chainsaw. I find Bubba is far easier to control than Billy is.

It's also super fun when you chainsaw through half the team because they bunched up and you made them pay

I play a lot of Bubba and he's just up the creek without a paddle against good survivors. It's almost like not having an M2 at all.

its not that hard. you go to the basement, wait in front of the chest kill everyone who dares to touch your chest.

when other survivors bring offerings, you might let the chest toucher go. when not, you kill them also.

Can't recommend bamboozle enough,, shuts down so many good loops,, also know your maps,, a loop connecting to good tiles and stuff is a huge no no,, known who to chase,, always go for the one badly positioned survivor

Because he let's his prey come to him when he gets a down, he isn't supposed to chase all 4

Bamboozle for sure. Don't chainsaw until you push them out of a loop. And like it or not he is the best camper in the game so if you stay at the hook and they rush to save its almost automatic downs.

I’ve played more games with him and idk if it’s my MMR going against ######### players but I’ve gotten much better match’s I found a build that has helped so much.

Bamboozle, Iron Maiden, PWYF and Nemesis it’s one of Otz builds but holy ######### PWYF is so underrated on him and the purple chili and beast marks make him unstoppable. I thought having increased charge time would be a hindrance but the positives completely outweigh the negatives

Really sucks you have to run these 2 addons just to make him strong

Bamboozle + Superior Anatomy makes window loops not just shut down, they become outright dangerous for survivors unless they immediately link into something.

Do NOT use PWYF on him, each charge used counts as an attack, meaning you'll basically never have stacks. There's also not any need to use Iron Maiden on him, I can count on one hand the number of survivors that have timed a locker exit well enough that I had to M1.

To avoid bumping things on uneven loops, you can face away from the wall and chase sideways for a few seconds. Some loops are really obnoxious about it though, like stubbing your toe on a tire rim on Azarov's. Or jamming your finger on a car mirror on Azarov's. Or stubbing your toe on a tiny pebble on Ormond. Or tantruming on literally nothing on the broken concrete walls in Midwich. Or having a low-hanging tree branch lightly stroke your hair on multiple maps.

As others have said, he does take a little bit of experience to get working but it doesn't take much. The only difficult part of learning him is maximizing his chainsaw time while in chase, and learning when you can rev at a pallet. If you're able to take a loop tight enough without bumping, a pallet and a half width of distance between you and a survivor is close enough that if they don't drop the pallet, you can chainsaw them at most pallet loops before they get around. This distance is longer with chilis/beast marks.

If they stop at a pallet while you're chainsawing, try to respect it to get the fast chainsaw pallet break. If you have sufficient remaining charges and they instead see the respect and try to greed, you have about a third of a second to recognize they're greeding and blast through to still catch them.

If you are stunned by a pallet, don't bother using the chainsaw to then break it. It takes 2 seconds to rev, then about a second for the saw to break. This is much slower than the 1.8 seconds it takes to kick it.

Ideally, you want to break a pallet from a side that gives the survivors nothing useful to go towards. This is just killer basics. Get them in the open with no safety tools whenever possible.

As with other killers, learn which tile setups are not even worth your time to chase in. Even terrible survivors can make you waste a lot of time if they have 4+ really strong tiles all linked together.
