Pigs reverse bear traps

I like them I think they are really cool, however there is a flaw with it. If you are not in chase the timer will go down, and a pig can pull a PTB legion and just look down at the ground not starting chase.

This allows toxic plays to be done, such as what occurred in my last match. I looped a pig a little too long and so she got upset by her lack of skill (she has a lack of skill because I am not the greatest looper yet I lasted around a 3 gen chase. Also not splitting your pressure is a move that newer killers do), so she proceeds to follow me without chasing me so my timer goes down. This was in solo que so you know how the match ended, (if not essentially the teammates refused to leave so I could potentially get hatch).

Now I wouldn't say "nErF pIg!" due to the fact that she is already a weak killer, I would rather say lets try to figure out a way her power can be more oppressive while having a good counter. Also buff her crouch/dash, it really sucks.

Does anyone have any ideas for pig to improve her power in a fun, fair yet oppressive way?

All of the suggestions have just boiled down to Pig players to not chase those that have Traps on... oh and to not finish a Gen when a Survivor goes down

But anything else would just ruin her:

If the timer stopped while running (which wouldn't make much sense)... there would be more Survivor just to keep running when getting close to triggering the Trap- Pig loses lethality

Not much else I can think of giving the situation you describe

I think Pig is overall fine. But I think that an active beartrap should give away the location of their specific key after 2.5 minutes. Since you can only reach 2.5 minutes if you've been chased by Pig while wearing the trap, or hooked/downed during that time. Once the key is revealed, triple the jigsaw search speed.

This would give players the possibility to prevent forced head-popping by bodyblocking the player who was tunneled. This is pretty much the only thing you can give to survivors without heavily nerfing the standard Pig gameplay.

On the other end, I do feel like Pig's basekit crouch speed needs a buff. Ghostface has access to an instadown and crouches faster. Pig would really benefit from faster crouch speeds, since players would gain triple speed after 2.5 minutes, Pig cant use this crouch speed to camp and proxy-tunnel survivors to let the time go down, since other players can bodyblock.
