If the anti-slug rework goes live, can we get a buff or complete rework to buckle up?

I've gotten value from it one time in the years I've been playing as it. Now it won't matter how recovered someone is because they can just pick themselves up anyway so you don't have to make a risky play to tap them.

i have no ideas how to make it better. just that I didn't think it could get any worse/more useless until this ptb
