BHVR please deactivate Bubba's Chainsaw near a hooked Survivor

It's absolutely ridiculous that Bubba can use his chainsaw directly beside someone who is hooked and camp him to death no matter what.

His power should be disabled in a certain distance to the hook (like on Twins or Artist).

For the people who say it's a solid strategy so the others should do gens: EVERYONE should be able to play the game (even the person who get facecamped on 5 Gens).

Sure as long as its re-enabled the second they're unhooked and this feature is disabled in endgame.

To my mind it shouldn't be a thing the whole game. Because in endgame the game is basically over. Sure you can get some points for escaping but basically you can't play the game for 10 minutes.

If you're just camping then you aren't playing the game either.

Edit: after rereading I'm not sure what you mean?

Rather, they should make it where Bubba chainsaw doesn't cooldown or recharge after use near a hooked survivor and maybe also have increased heat gain rate before tantrum occurs too. So, he can use his chainsaw near one, but he has to actually commit to it and can't just forever use his chainsaw as a tool to prevent an unhook from happening at all.

If he keeps revving the chainsaw up and dropping it he willl overheat and lose all his chainsaw charges from that meaning someone can actually attempt an unhook.

If he actually uses the chainsaw he won't get the charges that he used back until he leaves the hook. He will maintain the overheat from his use of the chainsaw, meaning he can only do that a couple times before being locked out of the chainsaw while camping.

Basically, if you use your chainsaw at a hooked survivor you will be able to guarantee a trade, but you can't prevent unhooking altogether.

Although they might have to make overheating not tantrum bubba anymore or bubba could 99 tantrum and then sit in front of the hook.

It's not very common, because it's boring all-around. But it is played. And actually, if such bubba camps in the open, then there are things to do against it. You need multiple survivors, but I was able to break free such a survivor even in soloQ. The problem is, if bubba gets down close-ish to basement. There is 0 counter play at the moment. He will never overheat, because he does not need to pre-emptively run his chainsaw. You don't have enough time to "just do gens", because 6.1 patch and you can't use reinsurence to combat this, because you need to be all the way inside basement (meaning die against bubba) to use it.

One could argue that it's survivor's fault for falling close to basement. But in the age of agitation and iron grasp + gens being close-enough to basement, this is actually not really possible. So all that such a bubba needs is to catch someone once and it's already at least 1K. Now combine it with NOED and the chance for at minimum 2K is very - and I mean very very high (3K and more still fully possible) for relatively very low effort.

I like this compromise, killers should be able to defend their hooks, but camping especially with bubba should come with a downside. If he keeps revving that chainsaw at every survivor, that heat bar should keep on rising and not coming down until hes forced to commit or tantrum to defend his hook.

Go ahead and commit to another person or have your camp mean nothing, its really that simple.

Also you could make hook tantrums have a long cooldown on the recharge, so all bubba can do is basic attack (assuming the survivor cancels out of their save in time), which will still lead to a down, but prevent multiple injures from survivors.
