I know you guys are getting a lot of negative feedback lately and I think everyone forgets that you are all human beings too, I can’t imagine how difficult the morale situation can be in instances like this.

It seems like a lot of people on the forum wants legion buffs, but barely anyone can agree on what to buff.

This is where I believe your credibility comes in, you guys extensively tested this character for months, we’ve had him for less than two days (release version) and I think no one has figured out how to use him efficiently yet.

I have gone from rank 12 to rank 2 and haven’t lost a single game so far with him, I’m so successful with him that I’m actually worried about him being nerfed.

Thank you guys for everything you do, I’m sorry the community is so aggressive. I know it’s not what you wanted for the game. It saddens me to see all the fighting here. Know that there are just as many fans supporting you as there are antagonizing you right now, please stay strong.

Thanks for your good words I am sure a lot of people on our team appreciate it! Don't you worry, I make sure that the tone / feedback is neutral when it gets to the dev team.
Fans that disagree with our decision is something that will always exist and is healthy to the game, we are lucky to have such a passionate community! :)

I’m so glad to hear that. Thank you for your time. :)

Honestly think Legion is OK, a little on the weak side but has a much different playstyle than most current killers and it won't suit everyone.

That said, I'm more concerned about the audio and visual issues with the engine update. They are making the game unplayable for me currently without suffering actual physical discomfort.

legion is just unfun for both sides. as legion u need to hope that survivors are actually brain dead and stacking together. otherwise u have to tunnel one person to death to be most efficient. this killer is sadly a huge fail.

Nailed it. It's always easier to whine and complain about things instead of adapting and learning or just accepting. There are people who just have fun playing the game and there are the reappearing forum whiners who don't know why they even play the game at all.

I agree. I don’t mean to put people in a niche or discredit anyone but I have been playing after a whole month of absence since his release and I simply have none of the issues that everyone else is having.

Those fans who play this game every day and say it's perfect aren't true fans. The people willing to criticise it so it gets better are true fans. Though some people are to quick to judge most feedback has good intent behind it.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to try and devalue other people’s opinions, I don’t mean to make you sound like a bad person, that’s not my intent, but I’ll kindly disagree with you there. However I know they want what they think is best for the game, but to be so aggressive like that. It’s what I call “Destructive Criticism”. Yes we want it to get better, but there’s a better way to do it than to call their design ethic “crap” and antagonize the team.

I think it would be more engaging and motivating to be polite with feedback, which would help devs in any team be more productive and have better morale.

Aknowledging the positive is important, otherwise it’ll only have a negative impact of some sort.

But there are individuals who for some reason, feel they need to be condescending all the time to other people, and it’s causing issues with derailing and flaming.

I hope this whole ordeal gets better soon.

Yes they do a good job and it's disappointing to see people completely ignore civility and respect towards a fellow human being. If you have issues with the game, present them in a constructive manner. Some of the things I've read people say (about this game or any other) makes me lose hope in humanity.

Truth be told, DBD is an amazing game. Yes that are problems, but this is normal for literally every game ever made. Newsflash, people aren't perfect. You can't expect them to hit it out of the park every time. Stop expecting perfection from imperfect creatures.

Totally agree with the civility issue. A troll baited me into responding to his passive aggressive comment.  Im on an alternate account now. Not saying I wasn’t somewhat in the wrong, but it just sucks that there is so much hostility.

I really hope the community improves soon.

Tbh, i already lost hope in humanity and the list of reasons for that is very, very long.

I am having fun with them, I have not had as many matches as most of us but from what I have played they are definitely fun. I love the new playstyle and see that it can be powerful if used properly, but I it still needs some tweaks though.

Personally I was looking at their addons and to be honest this character but might be one that doesn't need most of their addons. Speed, Duration, and the Knives seem to be the only useful one for a good game. The cooldown is not really all that bad and I wouldn't sacrifice any addon for it so maybe just tweak the addons?

Okay again with this "need to learn how the killer plays" what exactly is there to learn with them? Their power requires 0 skill..... nothing to it... if you come by a survivor that's a hit no questions asked... there's no mind games 0... when spirit came out we didn't know what she had brought to the game and she has such a high skill ceiling that players are still learning different techniques with her..... this killer... apply map pressure by hitting multiple survivors then go back to the one with the lowest timer--->that's it... there's next to no perks that really go well with them, meaning you cant have a good time running multiple builds and watching your theory unravel with success or failure because..... this killer is so restricted----> exposed perks are pretty much garbage with them (yes it's for good reason a game could possibly end in a matter seconds it worked with frenzy), predator? No scratch marks and power is a must,.... the main problem is little/ no skill is involved with frenzy and how it leads to the worst Dbd experience----> 110% MS chase..

Agree so much with this /\ if I don't express how I feel or if players in general dont state how and what is upsetting them after they just spent on a product that the devs just put out... how are they going to get better or fix what is wrong?

There will always be trolls, for sure, but consider that a good majority of the time, those people who come across condescending and flaming have such a negative attitude because they feel their input falls on deaf ears. Legion is a mistake. It's mechanics are poorly thought out and not at all stress tested. Anyone can see this, despite BHVR placation and fanboy reassurances. Those of you who respond by suggesting it's a lack of experience or knowledge on the best way to play the character aren't helping. All you're doing is fanning the flames of malcontent. It's a two way street and you're just as big a part of the problem as the negative Nancys are.
