Are these forms of body blocking bannable?

Is it bannable if a killer bodyblocks the only entrance to a hooked survivor, virtually guaranteeing the kill? Or like if a Trapper bodyblocks half of a path to force survivors onto a trap placed on the other half or something like that. Also wondering about rules regarding body blocking basement. Sorry if these are stupid questions, just want to be sure I understand the game rules properly. Thanks in advance!

    No and No

Bodyblocking for bannable reasons is bodyblocking someone where the game is not progressing because of it. In both of your cases, the game is progressing (the person on the hook will die).

Bodyblocking against the rules would be using the killer to block someone who is now trapped in a corner and is unable to go anywhere or do anything.

The killer bodyblocking the only entrance might be seen as an exploit, but I don't know for sure. Probably not. That's more on BHVR for putting a hook in a ######### place, imo.

The Trapper thing is not. It might suck for the person getting camped, but that's perfectly fine and valid within the games 'rules.'

Neither of these are bannable and that room in RPD is just another example of why the map is awful.

Neither of those things would be bannable.

The rules around body blocking specifically refer to taking a game hostage - so for example, a killer (or another survivor), blocking a survivor in the corner prior to EGC having started, when the survivor is healthy or injured (not downed/dying), would be reportable as that's taking the game hostage - that survivor cannot do anything to progress the game.

Thanks for the answers everyone! Also just to clarify, would spam vaulting a window or keeping it blocked with bamboozle also fall under the same rules as bodyblocking? Like it's okay to do it strategically but not if it's holding the game hostage, e.g, the rooms in Dead Dawg Saloon's main building where the only way in or out is a window, assuming the walls are unbroken?

    That is correct.

If you block the window to the Room of Death so that you can down the Survivor, that's a-okay.

If you keep it perma-blocked simply to ######### with them, that's not okay.
