Yesterday i played against this guy who like when i hit him has his dead hard, but without any animation.

i saw some others do the same thing from time to time. is this just perfectly hitting E when i am about to touch them, or a real auto dead hard hack?

I was thinking the animation will always come when u use it. (i dont really know i never used dead hard when playing as survivor, i hate meta builds)

    If they get hit the animation doesnt play out. You can do what some streamers do and lunge while you are kind of in their vicinity to a completely different place and if they dh its probably auto dh.

    Or if they are in the open you can walk right up to them till you are basically hugging them, follow them like that for a few seconds to make sure they dont DH and then do a normal attack. If they DH it, its 99% auto DH.

    ah ok, but in this case u cant say this was 99% auto dh or not?

    Dead Hard animation never started if hit with a Clown Bottle. This wasn't auto dead hard. The animation didn't play out.
