With the new engine the fog in the distance is much more thicker. I think that as an effect when your draw distance is on 0 (if anyone is wondering what I mean with 0, I changed the settings by going to %AppData%/Local/Dead By Daylight/Configurations/ Windows Note Editor/ GameUserSettings) or you play on low, is absolutely alright, as it is better than just letting the end of the drawn 'field' just end there. But when you set the graphics in Ultra or the drawing distance on 3, this fog wall is still there, which is horrible, and just makes the game more unfun for the killer. If you are playing survivor it could make sense, so you wouldn't be able to spot the killer from far away, but as killer it just sucks and especially as huntress, it makes her unfun, as you no longer can get long shots without aura reading perks, reducing her skill cap and rendering her into a less rewarding killer. It also makes it less rewarding to be a player with an 'eagle eye', because now the game caps you and you don't even have the chance to be rewarded for your skill at spotting survivors or the killer for far away. As I said, when the drawing distance is on 0, it's ok because of the performance, but when it is on 3 or you are playing on Ultra, it shouldn't be like that.
