Actually, fans of the film, the Ghost Ship, which was not a very scary horror movie, but undoubtedly, thanks to a thoughtful atmospheric plot, excellent acting, an open ending and a certain novelty of presenting one of the most famous themes in the genre, became a cult for many fans who were waiting for the sequel. but they didn't wait.

And now...a little more specific. You ask. why should such a chapter be the next one? Those. those who have watched the film will see that the film fits easily within the framework of the game...perfect. First of all. there are hooks for you, and as fans remember, the reaper in this movie had a tattoo of a hook for marked victims....here you have the actual question of human souls - the ritual of offering the Essence after the third hanging. Here you perfectly fit the possibility of changing the appearance of the main villain - take for example the same Legion. Here you have an otherworldly question about. what happens after life and death is the DBD universe itself. Here you have the opportunity to somehow celebrate Survivors and not so Survivors - hanged and sacrificed for the Essence. In general. there are really only references to DBD

Accordingly, there will be several types of attacks, either he will have a regular knife when he is in the guise of a Survivor, or he will have a chain with a ship hook - in the guise of a Maniac. Moreover, in both cases, after hanging (according to the developers and fans, it will be the first or second rake), he will be able to put marks on the victims.

Types of physical attack:

If in the case of a Chain with a ship hook (standard Ferriman look):

Normal Attack: Small Swing - holding the chain with one hand almost completely, with a small swing, man throws the end of the chain with a ship hook with a characteristic angular swing, hits the survivor with a "Deep Wound" effect

Unusual attack: Swing with lunge and throw - holding the chain with one hand, man swings the chain together with the ship's hook and throws it towards the Survivor, holding only the end of the chain, the ship's hook thrusts into the Survivor with a heavy blow, piercing him and instantly transfers the Survivor to a state of Near death. at the same time, man can pull up such a survivor with the help of a Chain (not to be confused with the ability of a Cenobite)

If in the case of a knife (the appearance of a suspended Survivor):

A common attack: a simple knife strike with a swing, like the same Pig, for example

An unusual attack: a knife strike with a lunge forward like the same Trapper, or throwing a knife like a Hunter's axe, but in the case of Ferriman, he will act like a boomerang and return to him, as if he is under the influence of telekinesis. At the same time, the knife will be able to injure the Survivor both in the case of direct flight and during the "inertial return" under the influence of force - you can make the effect that the knife will fly in the opposite direction, looking forward with the tip. like during a straight throw. Those who watched the movie Argument with an inertial bullet will understand. The flight distance of the knife, which will then return to the maniac for consideration by the developers

Unusual Power Abilities:

(here again, it is worth turning to the original source. that is, to the movie. In the film, Ferriman as such shows two unusual abilities. Well, firstly, he has the ability to control objects and things with the power of thought or move them also with the power of thought. The second ability is that he can change his appearance. Here everyone will immediately remember the Legion, of course, but.... in the case of Ferriman, I propose to make it much more interesting: in the film, Ferriman could not change any appearance, but in fact only take the appearance of the one who was marked by him (about the label a little later). Actually, the start of Ferriman's game will take place with his standard appearance.

The Emissary of Hell, he is a Reaper, he is a Boatman, he is a Soul Catcher, will be able to change his appearance only if he makes the first suspension. But it is worth noting a detail - it will not be a random appearance, but the appearance of a Survivor whom he will hang.

At the same time, in the case of the first (or second - according to the developers) suspension, Ferriman burns a mark in the form of a hook on the Survivor's hand.

Moreover, the maximum number of available looks for the entire rink at Ferriman, regardless of the frequency of use of ability, Strength or the total number of suspensions, will be 5 (including his own). The bottom line is that the number of available looks he will have will vary depending on the number of first suspensions. Yes, yes....As long as man does not commit a single hanging of any of the 4 Survivors, he will have only one available appearance, and he will not be able to use the ability.

(although here you can configure the possibility of using your own images of a Boatman/ Soul Catcher / Emissary, depending on that. how many premium packages are there in the purchase and inventory of each of the players of the game - roughly speaking, having only a starting appearance, this appearance of mana will remain throughout the game. and if, in addition to the starting one, more packages are bought for the same golden cells, then it will be possible to switch between them right during the current session using an active ability (accidental appearance loss) - but this is unlikely)

The Emissary of the Underworld / Soul Catcher / Boatman / Reaper will be able to use the change of appearance immediately after hanging one of the surves, using the possibility of switching. Thus. having hung up four different surves once, Ferriman will have the ability to switch the appearance to any of the 4 guises - moreover, it will not matter whether this Survivor is already dead by the time of the third hanging or not (within the framework of the game, in fact, this is writing the appearance of all 5 players to the cache of the rollers, with the possibility of using them for a single special class - mana). Changing his appearance, Ferriman becomes another "surveyor" - a false surveyor - his aura of a killer and the red glow disappears, he can be near any of the Survivors at this time, and the Survivors will not know about it - not, of course, if 5 surveyors gather in one room at once. then it will be clear. that one of them - namely, one of the two with the same appearance - is a Man - but who - is not clear until he stabs.

This is where Ferriman's second weapon comes into force, which is not visible to the Survivors outwardly - a knife. Moreover, at this moment man can either strike with a normal attack, simply wounding (at the same time, his appearance immediately changes to the standard appearance of mana, and the knife turns into a chain with a ship hook. and the Survivor still has the effect of a wound), or can stab with a knife with the effect of a "Deep Wound", after which Ferriman again assumes his standard appearance. Or he can grab a Survivor - for example, when repairing a generator (imagine - fix such a gene. You are one or several in a team of guys where the man is clear. there is no heartbeat. red glow - too - a surv from the team approaches you, like, let me help....he comes up from behind ... and immediately grabs you, turning into a Ferriman (at the same time, if there are 4 Survivors near the gene, then the arrival of the "fifth" (if there is at least one suspension) will once mean that you need to run away from him.

Basic Perks:

1) A perk with an image of a wrist on which a mark in the form of a hook is burned, which can be called a "Cursed mark" / "Devil's Mark" / "Reaper's Mark" / "Soul Catcher's Mark" with a description of something like this plan: "The mark of the Emissary of the Underworld, with which he marks those whose souls are sinful in one of the seven deadly sins, in order to take them with you to Hell after death." The perk itself will be with numbers, there may be 4 digits in total - depending on the number of suspended for the first time (or the second) Survivors

This perk will act on any marked Survivor throughout the entire rink. For example, during some actions, the man will be able to see the marked ones. for example, noises or jumping over pallets and so on (in addition to the sound signal) and at the same time, for some time after the action, the label will highlight the aura of the Survivor. At the same time, it will be affected either by the effect of weakening or slowing down for some time or by the effect of a deep wound before healing, while the negative features of the perk in the form of the same aura illumination during actions will not disappear after time or treatment and will be active throughout the current game session, which in due time allows Ferriman to change his appearance to the appearance of this surva. thus, it will also fuel the killer energetically - we can say that he will be something like stealing the soul energy from the Survivor as with the Hopelessness perk

2) A pen with a picture of a wristwatch. The name of the perk "Limb"

The effect will be similar to Kruger's dream world, or the ability of Darkness in Darkness, will act temporarily. Allows mana to use the possibility, for example, teleportation, or moving surva to a kind of alternate world or a world with slow time and space. In the case of moving to Limbo, the Survivor cannot interact with the real world, temporarily moving to an alternate reality. the speed of his movement will be underestimated and he will temporarily cease to be visible to allies (for example, as a Bell, but a Ghost with a bell uses this invisibility himself when he wants. at the same time, he cannot attack, and his movement speed is increased), while Man will also see the Survivor in Limbo, but a little differently than the rest in the current real world. When returning from Limbo after a certain time spent there, the effect of "Slowing Down" and "Weakening" remains active for a while, and he will shout about contact with genes or levers until the slowdown disappears completely, as well as the weakening will not disappear - at the same time, the weakening will disappear by itself, as well as the slowdown, the main thing at this moment is not to get caught by Ferriman.

The third perk can be made at the discretion of fans and creators of the game. But he must be clearly connected with souls. For example. The perk can be called a "Soul Vault" with an image in the form of a wooden box with gold.

It is aimed at strengthening mana and its abilities, with the subsequent weakening of Survivors, in particular, marked survivors. On unmarked survivors. which will never be suspended, the perk will not work. Either to do this with the effect of a "Curse", and the totem can either be changed externally specifically for mana (instead of a shard, for example, there will be a box with gold, and it will not be possible to clear the totem just like that. To do this, you will need a perk of one of the survivors - for her we will take the main character of the film - Epps Maureen - about her just below - one of her perks will be called "Holy" / "Holy Water" / "Holy Redemption". The drawing will be in the form of a Grail bowl or a small vessel with water and a drop of water. The actions of the perk are as follows - if the Survivor splashes it on a box of gold with it, the totem will be purified and destroyed.

The ability of the force, as I announced, is the ability to change the appearance depending on the number of labels, as well as the ability to move objects (in this case, it will be pallets - you can do it with Kruger's pallets. when they are false, or it will be impossible to throw them off for a certain time (some mana seems to have such a perk. by the way. when the Entity blocks the palettes)

Next, there will be "unusual" Ferriman looks, bought for gold cells separately from the standard appearance. In particular, one of them will be wearing a jacket (the one he had in the movie at the beginning of the movie and in the memoirs of Katie Harwood. when she shows them to Epps)

By the way. about Katie - of course, she could be used as a second surva along with Epps Maureen, but the developers will abandon this idea, since at the time of the actions in the film she is still a child, and we do not have any surva children (or there will be the first one if the developers still take her - at the same time, the first unique surva will appear - because considering. that she will be a child, she will have some special survival opportunities - for example. increased movement speed. less visibility - will be able to bend lower than the rest of the surva).

But ideally. considering that Katie Harwood will not be for survov, you can do this...

The first surv will be Epps Maureen - and by the way, in addition to the possibility of purifying unusual Ferriman totems, you can offer her another unusual perk with a reference to Katie, if she is not added as a surv

For example, it will be called "Supreme Intervention" or "Angelic Salvation", or "Ghostly Girlfriend" - yes....it will look like a medallion...that's Katie's heart-shaped locket

and yes. with special effects, the perk will summon the ghost of Katie, who will attack mana once with distraction, causing him to stun, dazzle and burn at the same time, while using such a bonus will not be very often - for example, with each complete repair of the generator it is for Epps Maureen - and you can link this perk with a Ferriman Hook - for example. If Epps Maureen has such a perk marked, she will no longer be able to use it. at the same time. having used the "Holy Water" perk on herself, she - and only from herself - she will be able to remove the mark - or maybe she will be able to remove it from others.

The third Epps perk will also be at the discretion of the developers.

Plus. according to the plot of the film, Epps has a well-developed knowledge of shipping, since she knows perfectly well about the current and so on, plus, she swims well and is good at underwater repair work, which will be very useful in working with the gene in extreme conditions, and knowledge of shipping could add something like a vision of traces to her murderers. Well, that's understandable. since you can find out from the plot. that she is an orphan and Murphy, being homeless, sheltered her in his team

The third perk can be some kind of perk with the image of binoculars, for example. Why not the steering wheel - I propose to give such a perk with such an icon to the next Survivor and the perk will be roughly called "Helmsman"

With the help of the ability "Binoculars" Epps Maureen, for example, will be able to temporarily see the traces of the killer - after all, he should also leave traces invisible to Survivors.

We smoothly move on to the second Survivor from the Chapter. I plan to take Captain Murphy.

Or anyone from the rest of the crew of the tug "Arctic Warrior"

Of course, of all the others, he flashed the most. perhaps, Greer, we even found out from the plot. that he had a wife and planned to get married, but still....not that... Although the most epic scene of the "manifestation" of ghosts on the ship happened to him....but not....he does not pull on the main character, although he has been given a lot of time, even more. than Dodge. moreover. that he was even in love with Epps

But there's a catch...the thing is. that at the end of the film, all the crew members of the Arctic Warrior who died on Antonia Graza, with the exception of Captain Murphy, were marked. And at the same time, Murphy turns out to be the only unmarked Ferriman after death, meaning that. that he had a pure soul, sinless, like Katie had. At least someone who. and Santos was marked 100%, even though Ferriman did not touch him, and this can be seen from these frames by carefully looking at Santos' hand already when he appears in front of Murphy as a ghost.:

And in general, for all fans of the film, if you have watched carefully. You will understand. that Katie wasn't the only unmarked soul in the film on Graze.

Besides her, this is at least Captain Antonia Graza and yes....remember the moment not at the very beginning, but closer to the middle, with a puzzle that formed itself into the inscription "Welcome aboard". You can certainly assume. That it was Katie...But I tend to count. that it was Captain's mate Antonia Graza - the one who helped Katie assemble the puzzle at the beginning of the film - after all, she herself could not assemble it.

Of course, in addition to Murphy or Greer, you can also take a very interesting hero, regardless of that. that she is marked - singer Francesca.

But it is also marked. Plus, with her last view of the Surviving Surva, she clearly.... does not pull....here she looks more like a Maniac. after his own death....but she can't be a maniac, of course, within the framework of the Chapter

And it is implied. that the Survivors in the Fog who will be part of this chapter with the title "Ghost Ship Chapter" will be unmarked initially..

That's still if you take Katie....I would like to add passive skills to her that will act throughout the game session, due to the fact that she is a minor and a child, for example, so that she constantly runs faster than other Survivors by at least 10 percent, but of course either on a par with a Maniac, or a little slower, she could because of smaller growth it's better to hide. since she could have bent down lower when squatting, and would have become the first unique Survivor for DBD, moreover, according to the canon for ira, who also died in the end, before finding herself in the Fog of Essence. But...as I said above...the developers most likely will not go to the addition of a minor Survivor
