Pigs that get an active trap on and follow but don't chase
I am not in favour of nerfing pig more but the sitting in front of a box got nerfed because it was barely counter-able, but pig can just follow you while you have an active trap on and not chase and the time just trickles down without being able to do much of anything about it and just accepting your imminent death. I guess I just shouldn't go down against pig, I don't know how this can be fixed but I don't even get bp for being chased since they literally don't get in chase and they just stop you from getting on a box.

I agree it's annoying but how often does it happen? I've only ever experienced this once, and to be honest I rarely see pig.
Not opposed to an adjustment but I can't see how they could do this fairly without it being abused. I'd much rather they focus on Tombstone Myers first!

They could make it work like the mend timer. When you're in chase the timer pauses.

That already happens.

First, mend is paused while the survivor is running not while in chase, though that was how it worked initially.
Second, pig rbts already pause when the survivor is chased.
As for the topic, you can technically counter it if your teammates 99% the remaining gens and pop them at once then you can try for a hatch escape. But that certainly requires coordination you won't find in solo q. Sadly there's not really much that can be done as the pig should be able to pressure survivor off boxes and try to get rbt kills.

Just keep going for the boxes. If she downs you the timer stops and your team has 4 minutes to pressure gens.

Ah, my favourite Pig strat. I love seeing the RBT crutch their pitiful heads.

Pig need a rework, her kit is kinda outdated like Myers. Should still stick to the theme but it need some major tweaks

What OP is complaining about (I think) are pigs who either just crouch behind you so chase doesn't activate or follow them at a certain distance where chase also does not activate.

Two things are stopping that
1) There's no chase happening... The Pig is crouched and not looking at the Survivor (Just like really old Legion... LOL)
2) The timer is already paused when in chase... Any more they add to it just makes Pig's slowdown worthless
It sucks but better Pig players don't do it... I can't even count how many times I was surprised by a head pop (all but one... and I have gotten plenty of head pops)

Forcing headpops like that throws games. You cant pressure anything and crouchwalk stalk people trying to get their traps off. Not only that, but there are ways teams can work around it, like 99ing multiple gens and poping them specifically when nobody has a hat on. Its like facecamping in the sense it likely guarantees one kill, but it throws the entire game to do it if the other survivors realize whats happening.
