When did they let you able to get yourself off the hook when you are the last survivor?

So I've always been told that if you are the last survivor, you are instantly sacrificed with no chance to unhook yourself. I've been told this is also the case with Deliverance. This has been my experience...

However, I just had a match where 2 were dead, one was on second hook, and I hooked the 2nd Kate (i swear I had hooked her once already, but there were two Kates so maybe not.) I walked away so as to not get the penalty for being too close to the hook, and she unhooked herself... As I went back, she managed to find hatch almost instantly. As I was asking her how she did it (though she was crossplay, so maybe console) I saw she had Deliverance and Left Behind. Okay, that explains how quickly she found the hatch, but... what about Deliverance? Does it work as last survivor? Why doesn't it work for me?

If you're on your first hook you can still unhook yourself up to the point of the other 3 actually being fully dead.

In your case, 2 were dead and the third was on second hook. The fourth (who is on first hook) would be able to attempt escape up until the third survivor (who is still on the hook) is actually claimed by the entity. The fourth survivor needs to have started their attempt to escape (but not finished) by the time this happens.

Ah, okay thanks. I don't mind that she got hatch, it's just weird because I have never been that lucky I guess.

Until all other survivors status icons get the skull icon that means dead you can 4% or deli if it's your first hook of course, if no other survivor is alive you are instantly sacrificed and when it comes to live servers you get morried

You can't if all the other survivors are dead.

if someone is in the process of being hooked any other survivor can still unhook themselves. however, I genuinely do think there is some sort of base variable that increases the survivor's chance to unhook themselves
