Hooked on you
So I'm thinking about getting DBD dating simulator on Steam. Is it worth the money or has no one played it? Need opinions.

The writing's charming in a very cheesy way, it's pleasant to look at, and honestly worth the money purely for the memes

Have a look on youtube. As for me its not worth it at all.

Havent played it nor I intend to but Steam review system is pretty decent if you visualize only bad reviews that way you know whats wrong with the game and if it may impact your enjoyement. For example you want to buy an arcade Doom/SeriousSam FPS and you check one, go to the bad reviews and they all say "this game is just too arcadey and barely realistic, I prefer stuff like COD with less enemies and more tacticool stuff" you know you may like it.
Good reviews are okeish but they are usually filled with fanboyism or people too easy to please which may give a game way too much undeserved hype, they are harder to filter than bad reviews and plenty are "WOOOOW THIS GAME ROCKS, ITS THE BEST!!" yeah, but why does it rock?.

I thought it was good fun! But I love those meme style games, like Hatoful Boyfriend and other silly dating sims. 😍

Depends on you really, if you're questioning it then its probably your thing and you may enjoy it.
From my experience you either enjoy it and have a laugh or just cringe and hate it all like me, I dont do weird anime things but each to their own obviously

It's silly and cringe and honestly a good laugh.

I seen play of it and it looks neat. Funny but neat. Figured it's a way to do something else dbd related that is funny not frustrating lol. Only for a break though.

No the ending made me uninstall DBD out of reaction of how in pain my heart was. Don’t get it.

I played it and it was fun, I would recommend it.
Also you do get a code to unlock a complete skin set for Jake in DbD when you own it, so I guess if you are into skins thats another upside?

Depends if you think it's funny or are particularly horny for one of those 4 killers 🤣

It goes like this.
Trapper & Huntress friendzone ending put you down into hell. 0/10 feeling
Spirit friendzone is something like...what? thats it? literally . 4/10 feeling.
Trapper & Huntress love ending put you to heaven. 10/10 feeling.
Spirit love ending is you turn into killer and start a massacre. 6/10 feeling.
And I,too, really disappointed in Spirit endings.

It's silly and has some great jokes but I didn't like how self aware it was ,,oh maw gaaaawd guys we're in a dating sim :O".

For the console or the computer cause I play on console so not sure how the code would work

I play on PC and frankly do not know how this works for console players.
However I would assume that it would not change much, as long as you can log into your BHVR account from a console. By doing that and owning both games they send you a code you can then redeem in the ingame store of DbD that will instantly unlock the Jake Park summer outfit, as well as a unique charm.
Of course you should doublecheck if you already own this outfit should you do it soley for it first.

I think some of the writing team was very cringed by their own work and took it out on us like "I can't believe you're playing this game you're so embarrassing ! "

Any platform you have DbD on, the code can be redeemed in the in-game store.
As far as the game itself, I love it so much. Its a wonderfully comedic Dating Sim (a la Hatoful Boyfriend like Jocelynbee mentioned), it's supposed to be something completely silly and doesn't take itself seriously (and the writing is great, actually laughed out loud a few times when playing it!)

I don't see the code and I bought it 🥺
