Has DBD become unfun to play?
For the average survivor, like me, who isn't particularly great at the game but is also not bad, this game has gone pretty damn hard I feel.
Does anyone else feel like a lot of the fun (i.e. looping killers) has been sucked out of the game due to anti-loop killers?
I've been playing a few years on/off so have a decent looping game albeit not great. Sometimes I last 20 seconds in chase, other times I can loop killers for 4-5 gens, depending on the killer/skill level. However, these days almost every game I meet a killer with anti loop/ anti-fun abilities; the nurse and her ability to disregard all survivor mechanics we've learnt to build up over a length of time, the nemesis with his 'i can hit you over anything you could usually use against a killer strat, the spirit with her 'i don't need to do anything skillful if I have a good headset perk'. These to name a few, don't get me started on chain gimp, infuriating. I know there are counter plays to most killers yet it feels almost inevitable these days that if you get chased, you're going down.
Now I know some of you will say something like 'get good', but I just wanted to open the discussion to others, to see if anyone else finds this quite frustrating and un fun. I do play solo queue 100% of the time because I lack friends/ or friends that have the game/want to play so maybe this is an issue I'm overlooking, I don't know.

Take a break it's just that simple.
I play spirit! I don't use a headset! Not every spirit player uses a headset.

When I felt this way, I tried silly builds like Head On/Deception, or I play Hide and Go Object of Obsession! 😎 There are more ways to play than just looping.
