As a person who plays killer when my friends are offline I will have to say no! This is a terrible idea.

Wo wo wo. ######### noskill if you faced the flashlight you have to face it. so you say the survivors should bring a perk so all your addons is useless?

You get lightborn for flashlights and they are not an issue imo. I think Franklins is pretty underwhelming if it destroyed add ons it would actually counter a lot of strengths survivors bring into the game (instant heals, heavy charges/repair speed/bnp for toolboxes, key add ons).

Since I'm getting a lot of survivors on here, how many times do you actually see Franklins in a game? For me I see it once out of 30 games and usually just on a Leatherface.

I think a buff of this kind is frankly, unnecessary.

To be honest when it comes to flashlights Lightborne is better.

And if you're looking to stop toolboxes Franklins

    Med kits, Sloppy Butcher

The instaheal is the rarest med kit item ive seen it used maybe a handfull of times.

Franklin’s is more of an annoyance especially if you have a key or an insta-heal. I don’t see it too often but I do see it on occasions and some nights it is almost like every killer is running it. Leatherface players are the main killers having Franklin’s, for obvious reasons.

No reason for a buff, it’s already annoying enough.

This would ruin the perk. The whole point is to make them drop their item mid chase and them waste time coming back running in circles trying to find it. That's precious time they could be doing generators, instead they're trying to find the item they dropped.

Franklin's is a stall perk. Breaking the item removes that factor.

^ that's kind of an issue, it shouldn't be a stall perk it should counter items.
Survivors don't have problems finding items they are typically getting hit near pallets and vaults so they just backtrack to that location plus they stand out except for keys and they have a massive pickup hitbox (survivors actually have a smaller healing detection hitbox than items).
The problem is with an instant heal, they actually waste more of the killers time since they can just grab the medkit and insant heal right in front of them and still delay the chase. The other issue is that green/purple boxes can be used for up to 3 gens, if you break the add ons it massively reduces the efficiency.

When I play survivor I don't really need items or add ons (except medkit when not running sc or pharmacy), but I do feel like there is still imbalance with the add ons with items when playing killer and it attributes really strongly to toolboxes. Usually when playing against swf other survivors can just nab the items so it doesn't provide a counter. Currently at max rank with Franklins you'd have to hit a person holding the same object twice in order to reduce the efficiency of one yellow add on.

This isn't even a crazy sounding buff, survivors would still have to be hit for it to work, and if they are swf they could just drop the item near a gen or something when they hear the killers terror radius.

I really don't think Franklin's needs a buff but if you must then keep its current function and maybe add a short timer of X seconds that the dropped item cannot be picked up. Honestly the perk does exactly what it is intended to do and that is make survivors drop items.

ok then lets have a addon for survivor that breaks the addons for killers :) seems fair

it drops them, but they are relatively easy to find and still functional (rip my flashlight). Been seeing a ton of legions use it and I just see items littered everywhere on the map for me to nab.
