Anybody else gets freezes on ps4?
My game freezes every time a survivor is unhooked for about a second when playing killer, I've also noticed it happens when someone uses deception. Visually it's similar to the bloodlust fps drop we used to have, but a lot worse. Since the game literally freezes up, it lasts longer and even the sound cuts off

Bro i cant even load into any games rn i may shut off cross play see what happens there but i cant even load into games rn its crazy i waited for like 5 mins in one load screen ridiculous rn

Yeah, a lot, specially with Wesker, RPD, Garden of joy and haddonfield.

Yup. There's a bunch of triggers in the game that cause performance issues that results in the game freezing for both sides. This post we've listed a bunch of them and there has been videos posted. Ultimately it's because the game is poorly optimized and those of us on old consoles and low end PCs feel it the most.

Did not notice a lot more freezes on PS4 than before.
Still got the little freezes and hiccups when things happen... like somebody gets hit or hooked.

I get the unhook freezes on Xbox. The 100% BP Bonus for survivor queue will also randomly disappear and I have to restart the game to get it back (no reason to play the survivor role otherwise; I'm not that masochistic).
I also got a Reconnect Your Controller prompt mid-match even though I had a fresh pair of batteries. The controller and console are 2 feet apart...

Just got a lot of freezes on PC against Wesker.
With short sound cuts as well.
Got of a gen - freeze - got squished. Multiple times in the match...

Isnt PS4 - 9 years old hardware ? Maybe its time to upgrade ? Well I m not console user tho, but I cant imagine using 9 years old laptop or computer for games now, even its just Dead by daylight but maybe still its time to upgrade?

Dbd came out on previous gen consoles and they do sell it for previous gen, therefore it should be optimized for them. It's not like performance issues didn't exist perform last gen came out. Plus it's still nearly impossible to get a ps5 rn
