Can we talk about all the 'stun the killer x times with pallets in one trial' challenges?

EDIT: edited the title

The way a lot of people are playing this is a challenge that is neigh impossible to do, even for veterans. If you are not up against someone completely new to the game or have a killer out for farming, most killers will just avoid pallets/stop in time to avoid the stun.

So... look, we know you are trying to make the game as frustrating as possible, but you gotta cut the community some slack from time to time.

Okay, jokes aside, but a lot of these challenges (and for the new tome this is only lvl2!) have become neigh impossible the way people play right now. And it's not just stun challenges. Healing oneself and/or others? Often out of the question.

Unless you are in a full swf and can sorta coordinate. meaning these challenges can feel like a big screw you towards solo

I try to avoid direct conflict with the killer as my looping skills are average at best. My go-to for these challenges is my Blast Mine/Red Herring build. If im feeling spicy, I'll throw in Head On.

The best way to do it is to drop a pallet as you're getting hit (if the killer isn't a range one of course) or you can do head on, ds, blastmine and stuff like that.

Personally I don't think these challenged are difficult, but if you're struggling just equip Windows and use The Game offering.

Other than that it's just a case of mindgaming the killer or being sneaky and waiting by a pallet when you're not in a chase and taking them by surprise.

For the stunning the killer challenges I bring Decisive Strike, Head On, Blast Mine, and Quick and Quiet. I know your frustration, but this is what works for me. If you can get a friend to set up a Head On or two for you it makes this so much easier. I hate that most of these challenges don't count blinds.

For the healing others I bring a Botany Knowledge, We'll Make It, We're Going to Farm Forever, Built to Last, and a good Medkit. The trick here is to attack the injured survivors until they let you heal them. Don't be the soloist that is stalking the chase though, if players notice you doing nothing they will run from you and your sandbagging ways. In other words, do gens until someone is getting hooked. Unhook chase them down to heal them and repeat. You might also lobby dodge lobbys you join solo that have no medkits besides your own. This screams Boon: CIrcle of Healing. Survivors are happy to let you use your medkit to save their own for later, but if they have boon they will heal themselves more often than not. I'd also dodge groups of three or four medkits, because if the killers are paying attention and don't dodge that themselves they are either not going to let you heal or they are going to Franklin's your medkits. You can still work with that, but it will make the challenge more difficult for you.

With stun challenges if you're trying to get them with pallet stuns you have to condition the killer into thinking you'll greed every pallet by actually greeding every pallet and never dropping, once they start walking through pallets with the expectation that you'll keep greeding then thats when you start vacuuming into a stun. This does require you to be a good looper so if you're not confident in your skills then just stick to the DS/Head On/Blast Mine type builds.

Also if you notice the killer has Enduring, just pretend that they'll never respect a pallet and you'll get plenty of stuns

Thing is, this one explicitly states 'drop 2 pallets to stun the killer'. Blastmine absolutely is a blessing for just stunning challenges, but this one is... demanding pallets.

Yeah, just saw that. You could bring Any Means Necessary, my son loves using that one. GL!

thanks, but all perks that let you see/reset pallets do nothing if the killer avoids them or (worse) slugs at 5 gens.

    I avoid these.

Can´t stun very good with pallets.

Have to take the killer route instead on these ones.

This, good killers are allergic to getting stunned. When I did this challenge I basically just camped every pallet until they hit me. So running a build that lets you run away and heal up is the best way to do it. Windows of opportunity (to find pallets), Overcome and Parental Guidance (to run away), bite the bullet to heal yourself with a med-kit. Bring the game offering and it shouldn't take you that long to do it.

I was going against a new-ish Ghostface, but was able to do this challenge tonight after a few matches running Power Struggle, Smash Hit, Windows, of Opportunity, and Parental Guidance. Even brought a med-kit for when I desperately need to heal up.

I'm not a fan of this challenge, it's hard without dropping everything and the killer respects the heck out of all the pallets. I've had to resort to taking hits when healthy, dropping the pallet immediately afterwards just to make sure I get perk value...
