can we please change the mmr system for solo q players like me

I have been getting put in lower and lower lobbies with players who don't really know how to play and now i cant get my mmr back up ill look at their profiles and they are always around 300 hours and im mostly doing 4 gens by myself the most time

Maybe try a different time to play?

Or in your area are just not enough players.

When i lose some games in a row i get a total beginner killer and/or pro teammates.

So at least for me the MMR is kinda adjusting (or still just random) - only that it is often 0 or 10000.

How killer mmr is judged is at least mostly accurate, I'm not entirely sure if hooks would be a better judge than kills. But when it comes to survivor mmr, escapes mean almost nothing. It should be based off of your score maybe? At the very least it would be more accurate than the current rating, like yes you can still get tunneled and camped to death and go down. But that happens in the current system anyway. Now the Claudette that has been hiding all game and gets the exit gate after hatch is closed isn't rewarded and the absolute juicer survivor who did 5 gens while running the killer who then dies alone is rewarded. There is more nuance to it than score but how they came to the conclusion that it's less accurate than escapes is beyond me. Elo hell is a term used in a lot of other game's but in dbd if you get stuck in low mmr solo queue, good luck you are never getting out unless you are so far beyond the killer he doesn't down you once.

No, Solo queue exists for Killers to vent their frustration, you are supposed to suffer for their enjoyement, imagine the sheer amount of threads here if Solo was bearable in the slightest.

I have almost 1100 hours almost exclusively as survivor and I played against a killer with less than 200 hours today. There is just not enough survivors to go around right now to make every match fair.

If MMR is by score instead of kills/escapes then categories would need to be uncapped, even if it's just internally for MMR and you still max out at 10k bp per category, otherwise the guy getting tunneled for 5 gens and dying in the endgame with 10k points after getting 0 objective or altruism points looks like they did worse than their teammate who held m1 on gens the entire match and also got altruism points from unhooking the tunneled person and survival points from escaping.

I think any survivor SBMM criteria that would be effective would need to be sufficiently nuanced that I don't think BHVR would bother.

And to be fair, surv skill seems like it would be pretty difficult to capture numerically. So many variables and inconsistencies.

Well Killers only have solo queue available to them. So not sure what you expect us to play instead? You can at least choose to play with friends. I don't have that option, nor care for it. I don't need friends only victims.
