Can zombies benefit from bot programming ?

If we will have inteligent bots capable of doing much more complex gameplay , can zombie ai be improved too ?

Well I sure hope so. If they manage to make a bot play blight and actually bounce around there is no excuse to let this two rotting stupids run any longer into walls

Please all I want is a simple code that is literally a if than statement

If zombie 01 dosent move for x seconds then chose position

    ( x,y) to go to

Well bots are only surivors right now but that's no excuse for it not to improve zombies ai because all that have to do is walk

I've wondered if increase AI capability might be used in a theoretical Twins rework. I remember a period where some addons' wording changed in such a way that it was impossible to benefit them while playing as Victor but equally didn't effect Charlotte.

Made me wonder at the possibility of the Twin you don't control having some AI roam capability.

Let's hope. Inb4 Survivor bots get stuck on terrain like zombies.

There isn't a problem with zombie AI, from a code standpoint. It's that it's tuned way down.

When Nemesis was first introduced the zombie AI was great. Downright vicious at points. Insert enough whine/#########/moan and it was nerfed. Now it's tuned down so far that they're barely above pieces of environment.

It’s actually not hard to give the zombies better ai. It’s just laziness to not fix them to be honest.

they have very basic ai right now

I think it's just path-finding or way-points. Maybe they use some kind of way-points and when devs change placements of objects when updating maps the zombies might bump into them as they do not appear in their outdated paths. I think they just aged and need fixing rather than suffer from a nerf.
