NO MITHER STYLE PERK IDEA: PERCEPTUAL AWAKENING

Nitty Gritty Details:

* All Noises that the Killer makes whether it's manual or passive is increased in volume by 20%. The amplification means that the sound that the Killer produces is slightly echo'ey with the addition that the noise is more discernable in the direction it's being produced.

* The Field of View increase is mild yet gives you enough of a boost in chase to actually be useful.

* Any Negative Status Effect such as Oblivious/Blindness given to the Perceptual Awakening Survivor is nullified. As they already have an infinite duration Oblivious/Blindness Effect.

Tell me your thoughts on this! :) Definitely one of my better ideas for a No-Mither style perk.

I once had a similar idea for a Perk. It was called "Perception Disorder".

It made you blind and oblivious but your BP would be increased.

What do you think of this idea? :) Anything you would change?

Interesting. Personally I think the downside would be negated enough by just Oblivious - I see why Blindness is there, but I think it should at least have an exception for hooked survivors.

I think increasing the range at which killer sounds are heard may be more important than increasing the volume. But that's a pretty neat idea for a perk!

The power of sound is super strong. Like omega strong if you have good headphones. Stealth Killers wont be able to approach you if your working on a generator if you can hear them approach, that's why I added the downside of Blindness. But maybe I'm overestimating the strength of better hearing?

Thanks for your input though. :)

What if it had the effect where if the killer does an action (like kicking a generator/pallet, vault a window, etc) that are not power-related within the effect radius, you get a noise notification.

Since personally there is no reason to run this over a perk like Alert or Any Mean Necessary, especially with the holdback being Oblivious AND Blindness. And basic stuff like footsteps are muffled enough for killer to not really hear it most of the time over the chase music, so a minor 20% increase to it feels like nothing.
