Indie game and movies licenses
DbD is indie and should share the love. We get big license’s, but there’s others that would make a perfect fit. It also spreads the word about lesser know indie movies and games.
the main character in Tormented Souls would be awesome. Even if people didn’t know the game I’d bet they’d like the design. Maybe it would spark an interest in this amazing survivor horror game.
‘Art the clown from Terrifier. I want this sooooo bad.
there’s so many underdog indies out there and DbD could possibly open them up to a larger audience.

Still think the Lady from Little Nightmares would make a great killer

This is just my jaded 2 cents, but i don't believe bhvr cares about lesser known IPs from any media in general simply because it won't make them enough money, if it's not an already well known and popular IP then they won't give a damn about it and it honestly sucks that they don't.
I can name drop plenty of IPs that would make for great potential chapters, but no it's always just the top dogs they want and it shows given how rougly 90% of all their licensed content in dbd are all older and well established franchises.

But they will run out of those at some point... So it makes sense to ask about the lesser known movies and games

Art the clown is boring. Those films are terrible with the exception of all hallows eve which is pretty good.
My dream IP is Splinter.

..... Yes? I consume a great deal of horror media and Splinter is a good flick. It's tense with body horror and a few surprises. As opposed to terrifier which is just a slasher boiled down to bare bones. No characterization, no real tension because you're not invested in any of the characters or the setting. It's just gore stuff which isn't interesting.
Again, all hallows eve is the superior film. The framing narrative and subsequent vignettes give a reason to strip out the characterization. Rather it builds tension and curiosity about what exactly this murderous clown is and why he's doing what he's doing.

Splinter was hard to sit through the trailer. Generic vanilla cast at a gas station. Never will watch it.
so you saw the newest Terrifier at the movies even though you think he’s boring…bs or dumb probably both
