SoloQ buff

Im not sure if anyone brought that thing, tho i believe so, because its not a forbiden knowlege.

parties have one major advantage over soloQ, mainly - communications.

Im not sure if this would fix soloQ problems, but allowing players to communicate through pings, and simmilar stuff, would help them grately.

  1. In lobby, players should be able to see what perks and offerings others are using (maybe somthing like "role" indicator, for new players - this Claudette is using mostly healing perks, so she is called "healer" by game).
  2. Pings in the game. One button would notify other 3 survivors about thing we were looking at, and this would means: "There is a gen" or "im working on the gen", if ping was made during work. "Im going to unhook", "there is a killer", etc.

OR

There is another way to balance things out, and indirectly help soloQ... because every surv would play as soloQ, and all balance would go this way: remove all external ways of communication. Runnig game would disable microphones etc. (tho i know it is hard to do at best)

Both numbered ideas are great IMO. The alternate idea (shutting mics) is never going to happen, I don't think there's a way to prevent people from using some external communication device. People will always find a way to communicate.

Ping system like "killer coming this way" is standard in other similar multiplayer games. It feels strange that this game is ~6 years old and there has never been a system like this during its lifetime.

    1. No, people would dodge

    2. Console players wouldn't bother using a ping system, basekit Kindred seems better

I dont know how controlls looks on consoles, but im sure there would be a way to introduce once-click ping, and depending on character stance and thing you are looking at it would trigger different notifications. This would be simple enough so that everyone would use it. But yes. Kindred as basekit for survivors would also be great.

    Or other thing.

Every survivors see auras of every interactive object that other survivors see. I know it may be overpowered, but communicated groups already do that, and once it becomes basekit, whole balance would be made around this.

But still... pings to notify others when we are going to save someone from hook, or need healing would also be great.
