Let us enter a party while the host is in a match

Currently when I look at my friends list, for friends that are currently online I cannot select Join Party even if they have it set so that their friends can join the party without an invite. I have to wait until they're out of their match to be able to join. However, for friends on the PS5 version of the game I can do this via the PS friend page. It would be nice to be able to do this with all friends regardless of the version they're on.
