Thrill of the Hunt is not bugged, so they would not need to "fix" it. If you are asking if they buff it to give a notification again, nobody knows. I would guess not anytime soon, probably never.

And IMO it is better than before.

Would help with countering boons, even if it does require a perk slot.

Current Thrill of the Hunt helps better with countering Boons. Hexes are rarely blessed and current TOTH has a longer penalty for Blessing and Cleansing compared to TOTH with the Notification.

And if they really want to bless the Hex-Totem, it takes even longer to do so. I would take up to a minute of them blessing TOTH for not getting a notification.

It may take a minute to Bless/ Cleanse but it doesn't feel like it takes that long from a Killers perspective... just saying

But if it takes a minute then I'll take it over know that someone is working on a Totem

It's obviously better to interrupt than to make them take longer to bless. Notice how nobody runs Thrill anymore. When boons are like a top issue, and ~1 minute blessing time being insignificant enough for not everyone to be using it, you can see how broken boons are and how TOTH should be changed back to showing notifs.

Nah, it is just because Killers have stronger Perks to run. This applies to TOTH with and without notification. You can just stack Slowdown and have an easier game instead of using perks like TOTH.

If Boons would be such a big issue, we would see Shattered Hope in every Killer-Build. This is not the case, because, again, other Perks are simply better.

Other perks are better, but only because the killer comes to the realization that Shattered Hope isn't worth it and is a perk when it should be a base game mechanic. I notice how in games with boons present I go from like 2k average to like 0k. They're blatantly unbalanced, providing 1 OP perk for the entire survivor team to use, and it can be relit infinitely. I started running Shattered Hope out of desperation because of that, but then they either don't have boons, or have it in a spot where they can benefit from it but I can't get close enough to hear it to snuff it out (which applies to boons regardless of Shattered Hope).

Boons vs no boons is literally like SWF vs no SWF, like night and day. You can at least agree with that, right?

It slows down cleansing/booning times which you can combine with something that makes survivors scream that interrupts and forces them to cleansing/booning from the start.

I do miss the notification from Thrill, i use to run a build on Doctor that only worked if the survivor's did Totem's, Thrill, Undying, Haunted and Retribution, with Doctor's Interview Tape and a Range extendor. Was good fun, doesn't work the same without the notification's though, which really suck's.

The notifications would be kinda dumb now that artist exists. But I also think the current version, while still underwhelming, is actually better than the old one since it gives more slowdown. Good survivors could use that notification against you rather easily.

That said, I think they should improve the perk a bit more. The slowdown is fine at 5 stacks, but I think it should remain a bit more potent at lower numbers of tokens. For example, rather than 10% per token it could be 25% baseline plus 5% per token (so the max would still be 50%, but at 1 token you’d still have 30% instead of only 10% which doesn’t do much). The current numbers weaken it a bit too much over time for a perk that is already susceptible to being cleansed outright, imo.
