Has Never Happened
So i was playing a game as wraith trying out a build that had a lot of slow down. I got a team that was all 50 prestige plus so i already knew what was coming!!!!LOL So they whooped me i think i got two hooks. In the end game chat the usual happened gg ez get good bum killer all that stuff. So all i said was "Do you really need to be like that?" One of the survivors then said "You know what sorry man my bad gg glnr". So i was stunned is there hope for our community yet?

As killer, I have run into multiple survivors that are higher-skill than I, and a lot of them have turned out to be very nice and encouraging in endgame chat when you're being nice as well.
Attitude really counts in DbD. By being respectful both in game and in the chat, you'll find a lot of survivors are actually not that bad. =)
I typically compliment the best looper of the team whether I'm beat or have won, or say how much I'm impressed if the team was really good as a whole, and the responses I'm getting are overwhelmingly positive.
I also had a hilarious chat the other day with the first message in the chat being "####### WALLHACKER !!" and the last "See you, have fun :)", both from the same player, as we cleared up a misunderstanding. =D

[Endgame chat] 23:45 : "I GONNA kill you !"
[Endgame chat] 00:16 : "Will you marry me, and be the father of my futur chlidren ?"
🤣😍
More seriously, I think we are quick to judge someone based on his avatar, forgetting that behind it, there is someone who is in many cases a good guy.
In my team of survivors, with whom I SWF, there is one who tbag quite often at the exit doors; from the killer's point of view, he must look like the worst bastard; when in fact, he is a really nice person ... in fact, every time, I yell at him 🤣

True ! =)
My duo friend and I will often admonish our teammates in chat if they're being mean to the killer throughout the game, but when I play killer, I'm generally much more relaxed because I know I don't really care about teabags.
If anything, when a survivor teabags me at a pallet (which in itself is pretty rare, my survivors are well-behaved for the most part), I headbang at them while they do that, and it becomes akin to an running joke more than an insult. They tend to be pretty fun in chat afterwards.
However, that same duo friend takes the slightest mistimed crouch as a great insult to his honour, and will 100% tunnel the hell out of that player for the rest of the game (for better or for worse...). It gives him pretty colourful endgame chats, and feeds his idea that most survivors are bastards.
Good attitude, and remembering that your opponents are most likely random people trying to enjoy DbD, are definitely two keys to having a healthier experience in my opinion =)
