I need your opinion about some perks for the pig
So, I like Amanda, it's not my main on the killer side because she have some... Problem
All she can do is not enough and other killer can do better (Hello GhostFace)
So, I wanna try some build to make up for these shortcomings
The issue with her is: she is bad at anti looping, she got no real power pressure (like insta down, even with a build up) and his power can be easily counteract
How? If you tunnel the survivor with is bear trap, the couldown stop, if you let him unlock the trap, he have to spend ... 48 secondes maximum at each machine (with my bad luck, first try can be good) and if he was in a good team, everyone can wait til he get rid of the trap for finishing the gen, and When all gen is done, your trap is just useless, because he can't activate in the endgame if we put in some survivor
The last problem with her trap... When you used all of your traps... You can't have a new one... So you become some trapper without power..
So, with all this information... I want to try this
Perks: Plaything, for become a really stealthy killer for each survivor hooked for when these try to unlook the trap on her head, can't hear me
Pentimento: with Plaything, I can force every survivor to cleanse the totem, so I can transform them
Lethal Persuer: for seeing the aura when the game begin, and seeing if they see my first totem, who will be
devour hope: camping can be some necessity here (I don't like that but) letting the survivor unhook his teamate and got some token for the activation of the exposed effect and become some killing machine
Or
Third seal: for stopping the survivor to see totem (plaything) and the jigsaw box, like that, the survivor have to find them "naturally" and lost a lot of times, and maybe, dying because the countdown is finish
I can add some add-on with that, who are not very strong with her, but can accelerate the countdown, or adding some bear trap... I'm not a big fan of using some hex perks, but if it can transform her into a good killer (for me) I want to try, at the risk of being tea bagged at the end
What do you think about that? Even any tips?

One potential combo that Pig can get unique use from: Monitor & Abuse and Whispers
Run around as normal, when Whispers clicks on you know someone is close, but thanks to M&A they won't hear your Terror Radius, giving you a chance to crouch and make a sneak attack. Basically you can go normal speed until you're in that window between Whispers and Monitor, then go slow moving.
I'm personally also fond of her Ruleset No. 2 add on. It keeps Survivors from seeing the auras of Jigsaw Boxes before their trap is active. Reduces their ability to get traps off early and/or not being able to until they're on a time limit.

It's interesting the combo Monitor and whispers... I'm going to write that, and see what can be good with other perks
For Ruleset Number 2 ... Yeah, I see them, but the bear trap can be activate really quick... If, survivor can never see the jigsaw box, with anoted plan, who add 10 seconde and one trap, but, for each generator done, it decrease 10 seconde, and with crate of gears, it decrease the speed search in the box by 25%

Hexes are high risk, low reward. Youd need to have mutliple hexes for Pentimento to be usefull, only 1 replacement will only make them probably break the pentimento totem as soon as they see it, also when they bless instead of break the totems pentimento is useless.
-> also pentimento is a late-mid game hex for me. I leave the hexes on the ground, broken until 2 gens are left done, thats the moment where i might go out and rebuild them with pentimento, only if they are close. So it is a gamble in any case.
Plaything i think is a waste with piggy, if you play her enough you will learn when to start to crouch, especcially when you have lethal, when crouched they dont hear your TR anyway.
Now there are pro pig players who maybe set off bear traps all the time, but i imagine this requires lots of dedication and needs much training and learning. Im not a Pig Main but i have played her pretty much lately, and been enjoying that killer quite well.
The core of pig i would say is map knowledge. Ofc some maps are better for her than others, indoor maps and the ones that are not too large, Lerys i think is the best one for pig. But if you know how to 3-gen and control your area for the map, almost every M1 killer is going to be viable enough.
The traps are a good slow down though, pair it with 1 or 2 slowdown perks like pain resonance or Call of brine and you alredy have a good loadout, Lethal for a fast start is also nothing wrong. I just wouldnt try to hard to get trap kills and rather memorize where the ones you trapped were hooked/downed last and then check the nearest jigsaw boxes, most survivors will go always for the closest ones.
About her rush, that is an anti loop kinda. You need to crouch on the pallet, forcing the survivor to stay on the other side of the loop, start your rush and fake towards one side, then steer towards the other. Some will remain on the loop and get hit, some will leave the loop. Either way you forced them away from the loop or got your hit, thats a win win for you. Ofc this needs some practice but i personally dont find it as hard as learn how to steer with billy for example. Or landing hatchets with huntress.
I hope this helps a little, as i said im not pro pig player myself but the tactics mentioned above gave me a couple of good pig games lately.

You may be not a pro, but your opinion is welcome!
Yeah, I try that, to use her rush when the survivor try to loop me at one pallet or windows, I need some practice with that, I think I got some trouble with that because I play more "fast" killer, like wesker, blight or legion
But, even if plaything is a waste for you, you are not against third seal?

I had to actually look third seal up but it doesnt sound very good. But i think i know what you are at, do you take "blindness" for litteral? its not like they dont see nothing anymore (cause i did that mistake with the various effects too, thinking they are litteral) all it does is make them "blind" towards aura reading. It means they dont see the aura of you or gens or other survivors, but only as long as the hex remains. Which makes it completely bad since they can break or cleanse it fast, most survivors know totem spots in and out on all the maps. It doesnt effect Terror radius or anything else, only auras. Plaything is way better than third seal in that case, but so far i have only Pinheads seen using that plaything perk.
I would just swap the hexes with 2 gen regression perks if i were you, unless you have enough pressure with the basekit tactics i mentioned above and find you dont need gen regression perks. But especcialy pain resonance and Call of brine are meta for a reason. Maybe the dms + pain res. combo if you got those.

One of the Pig's best assets is her ability to force survivors to do other objectives: the reverse beartrap. This means that Pig also benefits from adding on more objectives on top of that to overwhelm survivors. This is why I tend to use Devour Hope, Plaything, Pentimento, and Deadlock on her with either the add-ons that increase the number of traps available or make the boxes take longer to search. From my experience, this build works pretty well.
If you're looking more for a build that helps sneaking up on survivors and is more chase-oriented, I'd say M&A and Whispers is a good combo that helps you sneak up on survivors without unnecessarily losing speed from crouching all the time, and any combination of a chase perk and slowdown perk works well. Additionally, Last Will and Workshop Grease are great add-ons that pair together to make your Ambush Dash stronger. It's best used near or on the pallet though so that survivors cannot immediately stun you, or when they do not see you in general.

On the subject of Third Seal, Blindness does not stop Survivors seeing the Jigsaw Boxes. Killer Items like the Boxes, vaccine cheats, or the Lament Configuration, aren't blocked unless an addon allows for it.
That said, I mentioned Ruleset No 2, but forgot to include that I've paired it with the Face Mask (Survivors with traps on are Blind) as a way to hide the Plaything auras.
I've used this combo twice with Plaything and both cases got at least one trap kill. Though I think one case was a Survivor I'd hit off-hook not having time to both mend and get their trap off.

[..]And don't see the jigsaw box as long as the hex totem is there, so you can trap them, making sure that your totem is "free" and be sure that he can't find the jigsaw box for the bear traps

I want to make her dangerous, dangerous enough for pushing survivor and make harder every choice they make
0 -
As mentioned, Third Seal's Blindness won't stop Survivors seeing the Jigsaw Boxes, so it won't be as helpful as you think.
One Hex I've paired with Plaything with some success is Retribution. There's some RNG involved to be sure but every Plaything cleansed before they get Retribution is free aura reading.
I don't know if cleansing Pentimento's Rekindled Totems also triggers Retribution but I think they do.

#########... Ok, so it's just stupid for her...
It's sad that the statut effect for survivor is only for they initial objective, and not for everything...

Killer Items (things the Survivors normally see in white auras) are the exception to the rule where Blindness is concerned. That's one reason I like Ruleset No 2, as it's the one thing I know of that does block Jigsaw Box auras for Survivors, if temporarily.
Also one more general tip I'll toss out there: Try to avoid chasing Survivors with active traps. Since they'll be focused on removing their traps rather than doing gens they're the ones you least have to worry about. Smack them if you get a chance, sure, but don't go out of your way for it or all you do is give everyone else time to do gens while you pursue the one person who wouldn't be doing them anyway

To add our 2 cents:
Blindness as zeido said above won't block boxes. Only an add on does. Pigs strength (in our opinion) is her flexibility. Her power is "customizable" and has a little of anything. As long as you can play m1 effectively, everything else is a bonus. (Side note, your heartbeat is muted for a second when coming out of crouching, which can be used for cheep hits or grabs on certain maps
Anything good for a m1 killer essentially works for her. Hex devour or haunted grounds work but most other hexes are meh.
Our build consists of SH gift, haunted grounds, bamboozle, and 4th of players choice (recommend deadlock for serious build, thano or noed for thematic)
Honestly we're just throwing out random tips but hope it helps a little.

When it comes to the Pig it's more about timing then anything...
How fast can you get a RBT onto a Survivor VS how fast the Survivors can complete the first Gen
So my Build is: STBFL, Sloppy, Corrupt and Whispers... or: Eruption, Call Of Brine, Corrupt and Whispers
And Addons are: Combat Straps, Last Will, Crate Of Gears, Tampered Timer
Turning the RBT's into free time to regress Gens or to make sure that you've timed it out right
I have gotten my fair share of Head Pops but it wasn't me Tunneling the RBT'd Survivor
Corrupt- Blocks the 3 farthest Gens from your Spawn (Killer)
STBFL- Speeds up the recovery from a hit (on non-Obsessions)
Sloppy- Makes Healing take longer... and with healing regression catching Survivors Healing adds a bonus
Eruption- Getting any Gens with Eruption is good... plus the Incapacitated status effect is good for Killers
Call Of Brine- 200% Gen regression for the 60 seconds equals 30 seconds of repair so it can be good
Whispers- Gives you knowledge on where Survivors are (once you get used to how Whispers works
Jolt- Can regress multiple Gen if in range of them
Oppression- Map knowledge and Gen regression
Surveillance- Pairs nicely with Jolt and Oppression
Fearmongerer- Exhausted and Blind on all Gens for at least 5 (or so) seconds... pairs well with Plaything and The Third Seal... and Pig's slow transition from standing to crouching and the loss of TR

I understand where you're coming from with the whole stealth & secondary objective focus. I typically opt for a more RBT Pressure focused approach and let the stealth and mind games come from her kit organically. A general formula on pig perks I like to follow is this: Corrupt (essential) + Tracking Perk (BBQ, Whispers, Lethal, Discordance) + Strong Gen Regression (Scourage PR, Jolt, Eruption, CoB, etc...) + Fill (usually either another gen regression or tracking, MYC for a little spice)

I'll politely disagree with you on Plaything on Pig. If you pair it up with the face mask add-on (which causes blindness when someone has a RBT on), the survivor afflicted with Plaything can't see the aura of their totem until they take the RBT off (and other survivors won 't be cleansing that totem soon either), giving you lengthy periods when at least one, if not multiple, survivors are Oblivious without you needing to crouch around them.
I have SO many matches where I catch someone heading for a box or on one who have no idea I'm coming because of Plaything and secure quick, easy downs as a result. Your results may vary on the perk, but I've had great success with it for a while now.
You are definitely on point with a Pig player not needing to focus on trap kills -- they're for slowdown, and any head pops are simply a bonus -- and her Ambush attack (which is useless at very large loops, but on smaller ones can be devastatingly effective (I love most of the pallet loops in the classrooms on Midwich, for example, as many of them box the survivor in with nowhere they can run if you crouch in the pallet).
To the OP's point, I prefer Corrupt over Lethal (unless I'm feeling spicy and am running the Video Tape add-on, which is when I do slap on Lethal). Ideally, you want a down and a trapped survivor before the 1st gen pops, and Corrupt gives you a better chance at that than Lethal, where survivors are likely jumping on a gen immediately. At least one slowdown perk is imperative -- I run Call of Brine to give me some control on what gen I'm regressing and PR as a secondary slowdown. With Corrupt and Plaything, I've found a pretty good mix to use against most teams I go up against.

If you're running plaything, definitely consider running face mask, as it hides the aura from plaything
0 -
oh i didnt know plaything and face mask add on would work together so well. I thought its a simmilar case with the jigsaw boxes. But that sounds like alot of fun, ima try out that myself!
Havent used plaything really i gotta say too, as in my post stated i generally hesitate using hex perks.

Hex plaything | Check nearby boxes for easy down and stay hidden also always hit the survivor of hook to increase box search time by mending.
Safe The Best For Last or Deadlock | More time for head traps with deadlock and STBFL allows for easy chain of hits and downs and makes it easy to quickly down and hook camp if neccesary.
Make Your Choice, Devor Hope, Enduring, Superior Anatomy, No Way Out, Corrupt Intervention, Noed | All these perks can help you win better and end chases quicker they are worth considering for pig depending on your playstyle.

So, I have try some of your idea for the build... And, I was rekt... Litteraly, I give a bear on a guy, the first box, he got rid of, and i was gen rushing bully flashlight all along... That was a Nightmare, I have so much pain to play with her... XD

What I find really fun is to use an End Game build with Pig.
Blood Warden, No Way Out, Remember Me, Terminus.
So you get stacks of Remember Me from the Obsession, then hook everyone at least once and you've got it. Then, they finish the generators and Terminus activates as long as they are all injured they can't heal. Then you easily down them all while No Way Out and Remember Me is keeping them from opening the exit gates.
Then, if you get really good with Pig, you can have the satisfaction of getting a 4K before the last generator is finished and laugh at 4 survivors who lost to a perkless Pig.

I need some training I think... Amanda is not some no brain killer with so much power, I need to be a little... Deceitful?

Here is a video (about a year old) from Pig main streamer Scorpionz that might help you a lot. It definitely helped me. The only thing that has changed with Pig since Scorpionz video is the way the boxes work.

I played pig for the first time in ages tonight and actually had really fun games with her.
I look at the traps as my gen slowdown & ran more aggressive chase perks to keep the pressure on. I was running Brutal Strength, Enduring, Spirit Fury & STBFL. I was running the addon that decreases the trap kill time by 20 seconds & the green one that increases the box opening time by 17%. It seemed to work pretty well and I won about 8 games straight with mostly 4ks. Even had a few decent SWF games that went on for about 25 mins that I won.
