Uhm... First of all, there are some rather big things going on in the world right now that BHVR doesn't exactly have control over.

Afaik the "most-eastern" DBD server is still just located in Frankfurt, Germany.
So the further away the player is located to the right of Frankfurt, the worse gets the ping.

I have Russian friends who are some of the nicest people I have ever met (not matching the gaming stereotype) and they have zero control over what their government does. Even if they disagree they cant really express it too loudly and like us they just want to play games and forget about life for a while.
I actually purchased games for a Russian friend as they cant buy stuff like RE etc as for some reason certain companies decided to punish individuals as if this somehow affects their leader. I hate this virtue signalling personally, it doesn't hurt anyone it supposedly is meant to
