Nerf camping
Remove hook grab. Fix facecamping Bubba. Is boring as hell. Is ok only after gen completed.

Just do the gens, if You split, then You should escape, at least 2 of You.

Death on Hook require 120s.
Gen done req 90s
You will be done with 4 gens before first surv die on hook if You split, and finish 3 gens, and then group on 4th.
If killer tactic is only to camp, then You either need toolboxes for last gen, or sacrifice 2nd person.
Even if You will not finish 4th gen, then next 120s of 2nd camp will be more than enough to finish 2 gens and open gates.

No. Is not a question of escape. Is a question of poor game design. 1 people hook doing nothing, 1 killer standing still doing nothing. 3 other survivor doing boring gens or try coordinate to save without being hook grab (only swf can prevent this trash).

No. Is not fine. Is boring. Fun is more important of win. Dbd players tend to forget it, addicted to the vicious circle.

I think hook grabs should only be possible if the survivor that is attempting to unhook is already injured

Totally agree. The problem there is the fun parto the game doesnt exsist. You have 2 people doing nothing other 3 doing boring gens. Are we forget that this should ba a game? A fun one? Is not a job. Ok be optimal, but when fun dies a game dies too.

Mechanically camping is good.
But yes, game is poorly designed in some places.
Survivors are playing (1v1v1v1)v1 instead of 4v1, this is why hooked surv is not encouraged to buy time for teammates, and does not feel victory even if all 3 of his friends escape.

Also, bt is already basekit. Survivors that want to do unsafe unhook will do It no matter what, farming, more now cause bt and off the record. And vs facecamping killer there is not a time to wait to do a "good" Unhook. There is not need of the thing to punish a teammate for a bad save. There will Be no opportunity. And other players will let You die, or they die. Or you die after going 2 stage and be tunnel.

New mmr will ad just a bit. But not too much. Cause the "points" will Be count as team more. But the fun factor will Be the same. Devs must now and admit that. If face camp exist, this game will not became a must have. Until they fix this trash once for all dbd, like the big streamer tournament make joke of this game (especially shroud), dbd will not Bea big part for the audience. It will remain only a big game. They only have the luck of licenses.

They need to incentivize Killer's doing more then just standing near a Hooked Survivor... MMR has something to do with this as well
1) Make MMR take more things into consideration then just Kills/ Escapes... Maybe Hooks and Gens completed
2) Increase base Gen regression... then make the right changes to the Gen regression perks that would be effected by it... Call Of Brine, Overcharge... Ruin maybe it depends on what they think the "meta" would become afterward
3) Removing Hook grabs makes sense (I've come to the understanding on that)
4) Then think of more ways to punish Killer for Camping... BP and Emblems also MMR are just starting points
5) Make general changes to the game... like base gameplay changes rather then perk changes... cause Campers don't necessarily use perks that give the incentive to move away from the Hook (Hex: Devour Hope and Make Your Choice)
6) Revert the Gen charge change... make it 80 charges to complete a Gen and increase the Hook timer to 150-180 seconds
That's all I can think of off the top of my head but that's what I'd do

Guy on hook can't do gens and depip cuz of it

Surv starting struggle phase could be teleported to random hook on map, and killer should not see its aura for 15s.
