Survivors teaming

Has anyone else noticed what's seems to me to be a big upshift in survivors either initially making noise where you're at, literally pointing you out to killers this getting tunneled by killers or coming to unhook you just to stare or tbag you on the hook?

The majority of matches are fine win or lose but as it gets later and since haunted by daylight ended this keeps happening to me more and more any thoughts, or has anyone else experienced this?

I am simply bad at stealth at the beginning of the game. If I start with all survivors in the same tile I simply try to leave but I always get seen by the killer.

I feel that I hate when an offering is played that's starts everyone together.

I personally have not noticed an uptick in these behaviors. Making noise initially is unoptimal, but usually not intentionally griefing. Some players just like to get places fast and don't care if a fast vault alerts the killer.

In the past month or so, I can only think of one person who refused to unhook me and only a few instances of survivors immediately fast vaulting / throwing a pallet off of spawn.

@jmwjmw27 got ya so I could just be dealing with a majority of people making noise not intentionally trying to bring the killer to me.

Haunted by daylight was so fun and lighthearted and when it went it just felt like trolls where left but I have been having better experiences since making the post thanks for the input gives me a better thought process in some cases.

No you are seeing an increase. Rather than DC Or suicide the new thing is to grief others (you can tell a grief vs just getting somewhere fast.)

As a killer I have seen more players leading me to other players, even waving me over just to point to a hiding survivor… I hook those survivors first lol

@Blizwise you are describing exactly some of what I've seen. I'm just trying to understand it.

I'm by no means the greatest survivor but I make I'm regularly in top iridescent and I play very altruistic pretty much all my perks are to help us as a whole, so I just don't understand the griefing for absolutely no reason. I appreciate the comment.

I think they do it just for fun, or dislike playing the killer and want the game to end fast and get the blood point.. I just ignore them and hook them first and let the other do gens and escape.

I may when I think I'm alone fast vault for lithe at the start. Make a noise and get far away.

But you kinda want the first chase over your weak random teammates right?

Maybe he prefers to go where 3 survivors are doing a gen. Seems like more value to me, I can't really force a killer to chase me right?
