Once again asking for EAC Proton/Linux support to be enabled

Many players have Steam Decks. While I don't have one, I do have a Linux image that I prefer to use and only have a Windows drive because of DbD. DbD is literally the only game I play that doesn't run on Linux because of EAC compatibility. I play other EAC games on Linux. VHS, for one, runs perfectly with zero extra configuration on PopOS. AFAIK the necessary files are already in the game files, so I'm wondering what the hesitation is.
I have zero plans to upgrade to Windows 11. I'd hate to eventually drop the game over something this silly.

Pretty much why I play on console. So little linux support for the games I play. I have a windows partition for betas and other games, but otherwise I just don't care to deal with it.
