So, Body Slamming Tactics by Survivors?
I've just recently started playing killer (full disclosure, not the greatest survivor either lol), and this one group of survivors kept body slamming into me and getting hit.
I understand the idea is to slow me down from the hooks so the one on being carried can wiggle free, but all it did was get everyone injured and my victim still on the hook.
Now... I'm rank 20. I started playing killer like 3 days ago. Been playing survivor since halloween. These guys seemed to have the idea of the tactic down, but I never really understood it, since it just seems like you end up with a whole team of injured. Were they just screwing it up, or is there an actual viable tactic there?

It can be viable, but it's not always a good choice. It's useful when the killer is already a decent distance away from any hook, but not if there's one or more hooks close by. If the killer has to carry someone a fair bit to get to the hook in the first place, one or two people taking hits can easily allow the downed survivor to wiggle out. Their wounds are temporary and can be healed away no problem, hook states are permanent. You get up to three and when they're gone, they're gone (and so are you).
If the killer is already right next to a hook or if there are multiple hooks nearby, it's pointless. The hits you take are not going to be enough to let the downed survivor wiggle out.
There's also the rare time that a survivor will allow you to hit them twice to buy the other guy even more time to wiggle. This is usually because the other guy is dead on hook (next time he's hooked, he gets instantly sacrificed). In this case, you might want to trade yourself for them so they don't get sacrificed, as long as you still have extra hook states left.

The idea of this strategy is that this way, they can protect survivors you already hooked. If you have to 2-hook everyone before you get a kill, then you are losing the game due to gentime.
However, the survivors need to be somehow coordinated and familiar with loops or otherwise they will all go down1 -
