I bet new flashlight saves buff will feel awfull for Killers

Haven't seen too many Flashlights since the change, personally.

You must be the only killer getting this, or you're playing at midnight every time your time.

Never forget: they prevented players from rapidly clicking flashlights for the sake of photo-sensitivity (and the added benefit of removing one of the more obnoxious survivor-taunts). And in exchange for improving the quality of life for killers, though not actually making flashlights any weaker what-so-ever, they BUFFED flashlights.
This is like, if when they added the 'click toggle for generators' feature, they improved the Gen Grab window by 0.4 seconds.
It was an improvement for the game itself, but removing a tool for survivors to abuse killers meant that they felt compelled to give them a buff in compensation.
What a balance team.

Nope, no copium for you. Face the harsh realities of double bloodpoints.

What? I don't care who has double blood points, but it's literally a meme when killers have it because it's so rare.
weird behaviour honestly.

I mean survivor's have to be nerfed countless times over the course of dbd to be fair what-so-ever. And for the first 10 months I played dbd the only 'mechanic' that got changed was dh validation being buffed into god territory. So I don't really get your irrelevant point.

Or you can look at walls and other objects that’ll obstruct the light’s beam.

If the survivor goes down near one, sure.
Survivors lead the chase.

I don't mind. Doesn't change anything for high skill games, makes saves more common in lower skill games, but they need that bigger window and that's fine. Like mentioned it makes saves accessible to newer/less skilled players without making them stronger for skilled players. That's a good thing.
Perfectly reasonable change at the cost of removing obnoxious locker saves.
It's 0.4s now, but who cares. You shouldn't be giving them an angle anyway.
Flashbangs may become more common now though, underrated perk honestly.

Meanwhile I've been getting plenty. It feels good to have the most fun item to use actually feel decent again too- so much more engaging than another toolbox/medkit.

Still haven't seen many Flashlights as killer.
I've had a bunch of saves, myself, but I don't know if that's due to the new timing.
It's honestly a bit weird that I'm not seeing many as killer - I'd like to weigh in with an educated opinion/experience but can't 😞

No matter if flashy, toolbox or a kid, they all decay on the floor.

Have to catch me for that first

Eh, most of the time survivors miss a flashy save it's because they're too late, which this change doesn't fix. You also have franklin's and lightborn if you -really- don't like flashies.

You say that as if 99% don't loop structures filled with walls and objects that'll obstruct your view

I'd go against 4 flashlights instead of medkits and toolboxes any day

I say that like SWF can co-ordinate saves.
Well, good SWF.

1 v 1 now

I see it multiple times every day, so I don't know what you're on about, sorry bud.

Must be a low MMR thing then.

Keep coping, bud. 🤭

Again, how exactly am I coping? I don't mind who has the bonus, but everyone I have ever spoken to, or seen talk about it, has always talked about how it's always on the survivor side? lmao.
You are quite literally the first and only person who I have ever seen say it's always on the killer side.

So, today it happened: a survivor got a successful flashlight save against me. Hurray!
I am not saying that I am special or anything, but with time you develop a sense for when its save to pickup and when someone is hiding around the corner etc. Also, of course, the regular stuff of turning around, facing a wall etc helps.
