Tome challenges don't track properly

On Steam, both as survivor and killer, sometimes different challenges don't count progression. Not sure what triggers it. For example I sacrifice 4 survivors but it counts as 3, I deplete a med-kit in the game and it doesn't register. Since yesterday I am trying to do green glyphs. They don't spawn most of the games and even if I can collect one in the game it doesn't progress in the tome.
No idea how it occurs, how reproduce it or how long it lasts. Changing challenge seems to solve the problem sometimes.
