Killer power descriptions are forgetting to mention important details.
The past few killers as of late, for as massive as their in-game power descriptions are, have been leaving out details that, frankly, are incredibly important, especially for someone new to the killer.
It started with Dredge. It was very small; the power description simply forgot to mention that using your teleport during Nightfall will reveal survivors around the target location via killer instinct. Big deal in-game, but not insanely terrible to forget to mention.
Then, with Wesker, it got a bit worse. His power description makes him out as if he only has one Bound available at any given time, when we all know he has 2. That's a pretty big detail to gloss over, especially when the second bound has double the range of the first one. It also doesn't mention that for every infected survivor (infected, not fully infected), the time taken for his power to recharge is reduced.
And now with Knight, there are so many key aspects of his power that the description just does not mention. This includes:
-While creating a patrol path, survivors and their scratch marks are completely invisible
-When Carnifex detects a survivor, his hunt lasts twice as long as the other guards and his banner takes twice as long to spawn
-When Assassin injures a survivor, he applies Deep Wound
-The Jailer moves faster than the other guards during a patrol
Each individual guard has an aspect of their patrols and hunts which the power description does not at all mention. When the Knight is built around juggling your guards and determining which one is the right one for the job in a given situation, these different unique abilities of theirs absolutely should be factored into that strategy, and denying the player immediate access to that information hinders learning that greatly—and moreover, how do you just FORGET to mention that when you're using your power, you stop seeing survivors? That is a major, MAJOR downside to setting a patrol path that is simply just... not brought up or explained at all.
For as big as these power descriptions are, the information they hold is worryingly sparse. I don't know how anyone else hasn't noticed this, because no one else has brought it up.

killer powers are just far too complicated nowadays to sum them up in a piece of text. youre better off just watching an otz guide

Because no one reads the descriptions. They learn a killers power by playtesting them.
That's not an excuse, but it's a reason why no one has brought it up and why it flies under the radar.

IMO there's always been a problem with this game where, if you wan to understand what's going on, you have to close the game and either read a wiki or have a streamer explain it to you. There are always a bunch of weird technicalities to everything and often you have no opportunity to know about them just from playing because it will be something like, "When you're in your power, the survivors hear an audio cue but you don't hear it."

why do you have to close the game to get on your browser?
even if you don't have a phone or a second monitor, you can just alt+tab
