I've been noticing more and more random props obstructing loops
Like this one:
Is this intentional? Why would an LT loop need anything obstructing a path? Especially when there are worse loops I could think of that could use that. 😐️

It seems to be intentional like they're testing how it would affect matches. All I know is that nobody likes it and it has affected me negatively in both survivor and killer matches.

It’s like putting gravel in an in-use condom. Mood killing and painful

Instead add a new objectives, they still working on chase process nerfing, GREAT JOB !

Yeah makes no sense for them to be there. Have ran into this at Crotus Prenn and Macmillan maps too. The new map doesn't have anything like that though.

Devs are constantly silently adding little ######### as well as purposely not fixing little ######### that screws survivors. It’s gone on as long as I’ve played this game… years. They only care about pushing killer win rates higher and higher and do the bare minimum for survivors. My guess is they could care less about maintaining current survivor mains and figure they’ll do fine with new players who don’t know any better and might accept 75-80% killer win rates. Little bumps and parts of objects etc magically appear out of nowhere and mess up your loop, gates spawn so close that a killer can easily guard both, hit validation just stopped being a thing like a month after it started, the dredge sounds like the hatch, Nemesis/Wesker’s infection sounds like hex totems, Like 99% of survivor outfits are colorful so you cant be too stealthy. All this is intentional to make survivors lives miserable. Isn’t your new outfit cute? Now go die so the killer can feel special.

That's kind of annoying. I'm not much of a looper but I'm trying to get better at it. Running along straight walls is alot easier than running around obstacles, especially for those of us on console. I feel like this is something good loopers can easily adapt to, while it's another set back for those of us still learning.

If this is intentional, why was it not tested in the PTB first? Would have very quickly discovered how stupid an idea it is.
Loops like the one in the first post just catch survivors out and guarantee a hit.
Meanwhile loops that the survivor can run around, but the killer can't, are literally infinite loops.
It's like they're trying to take any and all skill out of the game so everything is pure RNG.

Lol

The same happened to me yesterday in crotus prenn yesterday.
I was looping a trickster in a L-T wall and when i went around the loop i got stuck with a big rock

It's happening on literally every map, there seems to be twice as many 'random objects' as usual. If this is unintentional it's odd that there hasn't been an announcement recognising it yet. It seems more like the increase in objects is intentional, but the precise placement of them causing obstructions isn't.

I don't have an official answer to this at the moment, so don't take my words as an official response, however since the issue with the new map is due to a tile spawning all the pallets it cans, could be that the issue is not just for that tile and it's just not for pallets.
Hopefully they will be able to give a proper answer soon.

Since we can easily assume that the problem is due to the same cause as the generation of objects that only allow survivors to pass through but not killers, "You're ruining the survivor! Killers kill rate brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr."
Yeah, fanny.

The annoying thing is, survivors seem way more prone to getting stuck on random crap in the environment anyway at the moment. So to add stuff in specifically is just filthy.

Hold your horses Rizzo, that looks like a great feature tho. Loops ARE boring and it would really make things real lively again if you could throw in some more random bullshit to get in the way of the perfect, face to wall looping. I know bHVR probably only intend special loops to be swapped out, but dont chuck the baby out with the bathwater here.
Surprise Hay is a good feature.

Yeah, it's kinda weird seeing things like this

It's not just bad for survivors there alot for LoS killers that it hurts as well and it is also making fat shaming stops for the killers. It's a pretty big problem effecting the whole game at this point

Dude the amount of time I get caught on these random objects is annoying. XD When you are looping a killer you have to look back alot and it's SO easy to run yourself into a wedge. I do it as killer too, trying to chase people. I notice it happening on pretty much every map, but there is one that particularly gets me. It's in the new map, and theres like.... a dark corpse of an animal or something at the end of a loop, but it's really low and you just are running and then can't run any further.

It happened to me with a tree in the shack yesterday.
WTF.

Please report bugs as you experience them with detail in the bug reports section! The more detail the better. 😊 Thank you!!

I started a compilation list thread on the bug report forum for the object spawning problems https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/356069/list-of-object-spawning-problem-forum-threads/p1?new=1
We're up to 18 forum posts on object spawning problems! And they involve various maps, and various tiles.

They do it to stop muscle memory…
simple fix, look where you are going.
survivors tend to head to the same couple loops over and over again. You can watch streamers avoid gens to look for them LT loops and every time they are chased it’s always head towards them loops.

Aye, ever since this last update, I've noticed the prop spawn logic has been screwed up. I've even seen props spawn so close together that survivors could run past and the killer couldn't, or survivors simply couldn't run past. I've also seen a lot of props spawning right up against loops in the most awkward angles.

Hi Rizzo, I reported a fatshaming rock like this on the 16th of March 2022 (8 months ago, thread below)
The same rock spawn appears in Scottjunds compilation from the past couple of days.

Do you know if this is now a priority for BHVR to fix?

Happened to me on garden of joy. A bush so huge right next to killer shak and exit gate that it was possible for the survivors to fit through the gap between bush and wall but not for plague.
Upsets me in 2 ways:
A) WADDAFUQ is this? Unbreakable loops for killers. nerf pig
B) are u saying my girl plague is fat?

Thanks . I was a bit down, but your post was so comedic, that I just can't stop rolling on the floor.
I am also 100%, nay 1000%, nay 10000% convinced, that this loop breakers were just installed to mess with you, personally.

100% no..
It's completely killed Billy, for the few of us who ever play him.

Good, I hate Billy.

New map literally has this on it's killer shack.
0 -
Yes! There was a big enough gap for me as a survivor to fit between the wall and the object, but instead collision said no

Look at this image, There is literally a tree blocking one of the doors of the shack.
2 -
LOL- That image pretty much sums up this latest patch. Everything is broken AF

To be fair I didn't play much on the new map when I posted that. Now I see what others are talking about with the new map.

This issue has been here a while now since release of the new map. Why haven't we had any official response from the devs on this. Its all well in good for yourself to say unofficially but unless we get official statement from the devs then we have to assume they did this intentionally to test how it would work. Seems to me a classic issue of if it aint broke don't fix it but they fixed something that broke everything. these bugs never existed in the PTB and unless you dramaticly changed something from PTB to Live how on earth did this even happen if it wasnt intentional???
