Yet Another Legion Suggestion

Disclaimer: This ain't even me whining, I enjoy playing the killer as is, and probably always will cause I get to be a fast boi, but nearly every killer agrees that Legion needs SOME sort of buff. Whether it happens or not, well, we'll see what the devs have in mind.

Anyway, I've been looking at the forums, both steam and here, as well as a bunch of streamers and youtubers to see what they think about the Legion. Suffice to say, its pretty unanimous on the desire for a change. Yet, the exact change isn't always exactly the same one everyone has in mind.

Some people want a 5% movement speed increase, and would be happy with just that. I wouldn't mind it all, but I don't think the devs would go for it, at least they said that they wouldn't buff the movement speed in one of their videos.

Others want something different with the Deep Wounds status effect, something like longer mend timers, or getting the Deep Wounds timer to go down slowly in a chase, or just shorten the Deep Wound timer in general. Again, that would be nice, especially considering that, in all my games playing Legion I've only had one person go down because of Deep Wounds cause I really can't afford to tunnel them down to get off all those hits.

But, personally, all I want is better perk interactions. Yes, I know, everyone runs BBQ and Ruin on pretty much every killer cause whoa so good and diverse and w/e. And yes I'm aware that M&A is also good, again w/e. I get it, those perks are just good, and work in pretty much every single situation. I don't care, most of the time I don't even play with them. My problem is that Legion is limited to MAYBE 5-6 perks that actually half-decent, and not completely and utterly situation in that sometimes you may as well have taken an empty perk slot with how often you use it.

Specifically, my main problem with the perks is that anything that applies Exposed is completely useless with Feral Frenzy. Which is kinda funny cause, on release, they gave Legion an Expose on Iron Maiden. 'Kay sure, except with the current situation of "Yeah, you're supposed to use your power to deal with survivors unless you wanna just run and M1 them, except if you wanna do that pick literally any other killer cause they do it better." But I don't want to play different killers, I wanna play my fast boi and so here I am with some calm discussion and a few ideas as well as just going over the different scenarios.

Option 1:

Scenario 1) Legion is in Feral Frenzy, survivor is Exposed and uninjured. Survivor gets hit, survivor gets Deep Wound with a moderately reduced timer, Legion power ends.

Scenario 2) Legion is in Feral Frenzy, survivor is Exposed and injured w/o Deep Wound. Survivor gets hit, survivor gets Deep Wound with a massively reduced timer, Legion power ends.

Scenario 3) Legion is in Feral Frenzy, survivor is Exposed, injured w/ Deep Wound. Survivor gets hit, survivor goes down, Legion power ends.

This, for one, would actually encourage players to, y'know, heal against Legion because of the greater penalty of getting hit while injured. Which would also allow for the increased usage of non-Exposed perks like Nurse's Calling, and even Deerstalker if you feel confident enough about letting a survivor get away to get downed by Deep Wounds.

Option 2:

Scenario 1) Legion is in Feral Frenzy, survivor is Exposed and uninjured. Survivor gets hit, survivor gets injured w/ Deep Wounds, Legion power renews. (Current interaction)

Scenario 2) Legion is in Feral Frenzy, survivor is Exposed and injured w/o Deep Wounds. Survivor gets hit, gets Deep Wounds, Legion power renews. (Current interaction)

Scenario 3) Legion is in Feral Frenzy, survivor is Exposed and injured w/ Deep Wounds. Survivor gets hit, Deep Wounds Timer reduced slightly, Legion power duration reduced slightly.

This is pretty much the same as the current interaction except if they already have Deep Wounds you can get multiple hits on a single survivor out of a single use of Feral Frenzy to, potentially, give them a shorter time then if they were not Exposed and were hit twice in Feral Frenzy. While it wouldn't give the Legion a chance with as many perks as option 1, a la Nurse's Calling still not really being that viable cause why would they heal, it still opens up more options for perks, both Exposed and otherwise.

While I'm sure that some numbers have to be tossed around, and the add-ons have to also be considered, especially stuff like Frank's Mixtape, I feel that this could make Legion just feel BETTER to play? Like no matter what, Legion, at least to me, will always have this "hunt down one person at a time" feel to them, just cause of how Deep Wounds work. Working around this with perk interactions with the Legion's power seems like the best way to go about it.

Please notice that in all this I only ever talked about power interactions if the survivor was Exposed. I don't really have a set idea on how to make the Legion feel better normally, except maybe getting rid of the on the power that says "*NOTE: Hitting a Survivor with a basic attack while Feral Frenzy is not active will deplete The Killer's entire power gauge.", so I didn't even bother touching that.

So yeah, those are just some ideas, which I'm sure have already been brought up somewhere or another in some form or another.
