Why do synergies keep getting nerfed?
Why do synergies with perks or add-ons keep getting removed?
Now since vault speed perks don't work with killer powers or add-ons that just encourages to run more slow down.
It's the same on the survivor side with removing blast mine/ repressed alliance.
What's next? Medkit add-ons don't work with healing perks or toolboxes don't work with repair perks

While I agree with you in theory, medkits/toolboxes working with certain perks (namely CoH and Hyperfocus) are probably not the best example as they should absolutely be looked at and adjusted.
That being said, I agree that vault speed builds and Blast Mine synergies should have been fine.

I'm very happy that people are bringing up this debate recently. Both sides should benefit from perk and power synergies. Removing them just creates an increased usage of meta perks on both sides and decreased usage of fun builds. We shouldn't be nerfing nonmeta perks or taking away from perk and power combos if they will increase perk variety in matches and aren't broken or overpowered.
When it comes to the vault speed perk-power synergy, none of the killers were broken or overpowered when they used it. Myers will eventually get out of 3 (or spend a long while getting unlimited tier 3), Wraith has to uncloak before attacking a survivor, Wesker has to both charge up and cool down from his power before and after the vault in order to hit a survivor afterward, and Legion of course either goes through a fatigue or has to earn the five hits in their power to down the survivor.
On top of all that, they still are sacrificing a gen slowdown perk for a vault speed one. I find these changes to be completely unnecessary and I hope they revert them, along with the Blast Mine - Repressed Alliance synergy.

Just make the bamboozle speed (before the nerf) default. Think of it like this, why was it there? Now seriously pause before rage typing and think about it. Why would I want to have a few seconds more to vault a window that blocks itself after I vault it a little faster?
Because the degeneration speed of the blocked window is far too high for the killer and survivor to compete in their chase/loops. As a survivor you hold at a 45-degree angle waiting to see a killer, right? You see it, proceed to go in the opposite direction this takes around 3/4 seconds. Chase continues around say..our shack, by the end of turn 2 and 3 the window will now be unblocked hence making the actual perk useless. THATS what the speed was for. IF the devs want to consolidate the perks then awesome! make that vault base. Otherwise, they just destroyed something BOTH sides had to think outside the box on (should i go one more loop around or run away to a new loop) and promoted mind games and learning.
Look, I know survivor is the cashcow for DBD, we all know it. You want them to be enjoying the game and not be stressed resulting in buying cosmetics and so on. However, by making these changes you're unintentionally showing a bias to a side that to this point needs nothing more than the game to play itself with the training wheels you are providing them. Synergy makes Dbd interesting, we all want it and the more you gut these mechanics for either side the more boring the game will become with no experimentation, make builds truly unique and each player inventing their own style of gameplay. Dbd is NOT an E-sport, stop thinking it is and re-access you goal with the game flow.

If you have the right reasons and they make sense to you, you will complain, but you still need to make an effort to understand and accept them.
But this shadow nerf at Bamboozle was not mentioned in the patch notes, nor was there any explanation. They did not disclose for what reason they nerfed it.
If you insist on transparency and consistency, you owe an explanation. Not just this time. Shadow nerfs have been done before.

honestly toolboxes shouldn't work with repair perks. But yeah im still mad about blast mine, and now this new vaulting change really irritates me.

Medkits and toolboxes are an issue, otherwise I agree. They say they want synergy but the only real synergies they let exist are garbage ones that no one uses anyway. Every time we get a decent synergy it gets nerfed out of existence. Bar some off exceptions it’s why you see the same cookie cutter build on every killer.

is it confirmed that it was intentional? could also be a bug that it no longer works
