Controller not working on PC

Haven't played in a while, tried using a ps5 and then an xbox series x controller and neither worked. I used to use the series x controller and it would work fine.

Which platform on PC are you trying it on (Steam, epic, windows)
also Bluetooth or usb, does the controller work on other games?
