Unable to use ability when playing with controller and mouse

Ever since the Knight update I started having a problem with both survivor and killer when trying to use my ability buttons. I play with an xbox controller for movement and I just a mouse for looking around and using abilities. It is way more noticeable when playing killer but i've noticed it as well when playing survivor mostly when looking behind me and trying to vault a window. It seems most consistent when I'm actively moving with the analog stick and trying to input an ability with my left or right mouse button.

    Tested again today. Still an issue. Always seems to be a problem in chase but not always outside of chase.

    This is clearly getting no traction but still an issue after mid chapter update. Only happens in chase for both killer and survivor. Keeping this alive in case anybody else plays this way.
