Disappointment
I reported a player that uses speed hacks. And the response of BHVR is they won't tell me what is the outcome. How I supposed to know if I got my justice. I already invested time and money on this game and this is the response that I get? Does BHVR really protecting hackers or they're just incompetent? I'm really disappointed and sad. Here's the video of the said hacker recorded with nvidia shadow play
If I may add I also checked the account of the said hacker he was already banned 2 months ago. (VAC)
I removed the video link because unfortunately shaming and naming rule applies to hackers not "possible" hackers. (UNBELIEVABLE)

First of all, you cannot report players here, and I'd recommend removing the video link 'cause it violates the naming and shaming rule.
Second, your ticket will eventually be marked as "resolved". If your evidence is damning, you can fairly sure your report has been successful.
That said, there was a dev update a while back that promised improved feedback when reporting players. I forget when that was supposed to arrive, but it is coming.

Because they don't discuss punishment of other players to anyone

Why they can't?

They just don't, other games don't say anything either if you report someone.

Because updating every single person that makes a report takes time. Time that is better spent going through other reports.

Naming and Shaming rule applies to everyone even possible hackers.
Unless you have daming proof or them specifically saying "I'm using hacks" they are innocent until proven guilty.

There's already a video... Are we on a court room or something? Are we really supporting hackers here?
At least on some games you'll know when they got remove while playing the game.

No we are supporting the forum rules. Also I might remove that comment about thier name being Spaghetti....that sounds like your making fun of their native language.

No one is supporting hackers. But the innocent until proven guilty applies to everyone. Nothing to change it.

The video is not enough? How about detecting the changes in game?

Venting is one thing but making fun of another race and breaking forum rules is another

The name 'n shaming rule exists to prevent dogpiling, amongst other reasons. What if the report does turn out to be fabricated? Then you got possibly hundreds of people left with a negative opinion of an innocent person, possibly to the extent of harrassing them or worse. Mind, I'm not saying your report was fabricated, but there is always the possbility.
With regards to the anti-cheat... I don't really know. What I do know is that DbD was never built to support a replay system, and the devs have gone on record saying that for such a feature to be a thing, they had to have built the game with it in mind. The game is six years old, and if they weren't working on it before, it only becomes harder and harder the more they complicate the game.
I think you need to reread the comment about "resolved". You can find your tickets on the same site that you created it on. It should have a status mark. That can be either "open" or "resolved", the latter obviously meaning that action has been taken, whatever that may be.

Okay, sorry, I'm clearly not in the right mind because I'm definitely angry. Bhvr won't give you any choice or sense of complacent. I'm just mad that you won't even know if the hacker got banned. But..... Forum rules. Why it applies to hacker. Why? It's hard to find a reasonable explanation, but there's nothing. I'm really mad you know? Knowing the game that you invested with time and money is hacker friendly. I just bought the game on nov, bought dlc and rift. It was the first multiplayer game that I enjoyed since I always play single player.

I get it and there's nothing wrong with venting I just didn't want you to get in trouble with a Mod. I made a similar mistake and vented but broke forum rules and got dinged by a Mod (that's all I'm saying of that so don't ask lol)

I think it's time for you to settle down. The odd game where there is a hacker just isn't worth getting so upset over. Especially when you've already gone through the steps for reporting the possible cheater.

Okay, things are escalating. As such, I will be closing this thread. For any reports regarding other players, you visit this link for info: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408586278676-How-to-report-a-player
