Game is now crashing every time i want to play killer and i don't know why? half the time it crashes my whole pc

Crashes a lot on console, too. I thought it was because of the new map, but since that's been removed from rotation the crashes are still happening on random maps.

guess its just the new engine? can't think what else it'd be

I play on console, It’s been happening to me as well. It usually crashed when I got the new map, so I just started instantly DC’ing every time I got it. 

Then I started crashing even after they took out the new map, but it’s less frequent now that the new map is gone. Must be the new engine like you suggest. I don’t really like it that much anyways.

Frustratingly, most of my crashes are happening mid chase.

The crashes are known with the devs. They re doing their best to fix them asap

I get crashes alot when I am playing survivor. Especially after I burn bloody party streamers which is a shame really.
