Will there ever be anything done about unfun playstyles?
Hello the Dead by Daylight team, I am a player of 4 years now and I have put a lot of time and love into this game because it is truly a unique game that offers a lot of potential fun. But lately I feel like a lot of the general playerbase have started playing the game in a way that I would consider anti-social or just straight unfun. That is players will play in a way that is not really meant to be fun for either them or the other player/players. The big thing being the increase in Camping and Tunneling. These "playstyles" often work to gain a player a advantage while not engaging any other player and having interactions and moments with them. Rather its a strategy all about passiveness. Its about create the fewest possible moments and interactions between players which otherwise is what makes the game what it is, and also the fun in the active act of playing a match. These players instead seem to be hyper focused on the act of "winning" as they only focus on that aspect of fun instead of the active mid match fun that creates fun for everyone in the match.
This also creates a self feeding loop of them seeing generators being done fast because they are being passive so they justify their passiveness with that gens are being rushed to fast.
What I really wonder is: Will you ever implement some sort of mechanic or change to the game in a HARD enough way to force these players to play in a active and engaging playstyle that promotes fun moments and interactions between players?

Yeah, because they want killers to be able to tunnel as a strategy. In a pinch sometimes you have to.

Hooks are a form of pressure. The ability to pick which hook you place a survivor at is important for keeping tempo in a match as killer. The reason PH cages are random is because it's a trade-off for the time save from not picking the survivor up and being able to ignore perks.
The devs would have to make a solo gen 5 minutes if they were to do what you suggest and I'm sure you'll find that more fun.
