SHOULD BHVR DO A COMPETITION WHERE PLAYERS SUBMIT CHAPTER IDEAS?
What would you think if BHVR put out a competition where the winner's idea would be a chapter?
So imagine BHVR held an open contest. Anyone who was interested would submit their chapter idea. Then, BHVR would narrow it down to the best ideas, and they'd then allow the community to vote on which idea they wanted. There'd obviously have to be a lot of fine print--things like X, Y, Z data must be included and submissions could only happen within a certain window. But if all of that stuff was figured out smoothly, how would you feel about a community contest like that?
Would you like that idea? I've read a lot of great chapter ideas on these forums so there's a lot of good ideas out there.
(Only thing I'm not sure of is if there should be a prize beyond the winner's idea being added to the game. Would the winner have to be legally compensated? Would they have to sign over the rights to the idea?? Idk. But for the sake of argument, let's just assume that legal stuff was figured out).
