Hag addon pass ideas
Grandmas Heart: Tripped phantasm traps give the Hag the Undetectable status effect for 10 seconds, effect cannot trigger more than once in a 30 second period. The phantasm also emits a fake terror radius with a range of 20 meters.
(currently the addons effects is very meh and most of the time you can’t tell a difference in your gameplay. What it does now is allows your phantasms to emit a fake terror radius (unknown range?) and removing the Hags terror radius for the duration of the trap (5 seconds base). The problem is that when the survivor triggers a trap they immediately hear chase music and see a red stain on the phantasm so technically only other survivors that just happen to be nearby can hear the fake terror radius. Also, 5 seconds without a terror radius is totally not enough time especially considering that you still have a red stain and loud growling to give you away. If you’re in chase when this happens then even less of an effect because the chase music is not what goes away. Overall the idea is to have more sneaky moments without always needing to teleport which the current iteration fails to accomplish).
For the Trap radius increasing addons I propose just removing the green and yellow ones, the radius to which they increase the traps is more of a hindrance for the Hag than anything else, the brown though (Bog Water) which increases the trap radius by 10% is actually ok and doesn’t sabotage gameplay like the other ones. To replace those two addons slots I propose adding ones that apply status effects relevant to Hags play style as a trap setter.
Bloodied Mud: (Green addon rework) Tripped phantasm traps apply the Oblivious status effect to the survivor for 20 seconds. Effect cannot trigger more than once in a 30 second period.
Bloodied Water: (Yellow addon rework) Tripped phantasm traps apply the Blindness status effect to the survivor for 30 seconds. This effect can not trigger more than once in a 30 second period.
Scarred Hand (the addon the gives her phantasms collision) is awful. It completely removes her main ability and replaces it with a subpar one that turns her into a basic m1 killer at 110% speed (without Waterlogged shoe). ‘Some’ people like m1 Hag for the meme but that doesn’t make it good or fun for most.
Scarred Hand: (rework) Phantasms still have collision when tripped but the Hag is now able to teleport to traps as normal. (New effect) Survivors who run into the phantasm trap will drop their items and scream revealing their location. (The screaming part wouldn’t really help in anyway as the Hag obviously knows where you are when the trap triggers BUT it would be an indication that the survivor dropped their item. This will hopefully remove the Hags reliance to Franklins as a way to deal with flashlights, the addon wouldn’t drain charges like franklins but getting it out of their hand still makes the pickup risky for them.)
Disfigured Ear: The deafening effect is…I just don’t know, it’s definitely an effect but I rather have an addon that improves my chances of winning than…deafening the survivor for 6 seconds. There aren’t too many addons that apply exhaustion to the survivors so as a purple I think it would be fitting to add it.
(rework) Tripped phantasm traps apply the exhaustion status effect to the survivor for 15 seconds. (There can still be a deafening sound effect if you guys are so crazy about the effect.)
