Why am I getting a 6 hour ban when the internet forcefully removed me from the game?

I get why the ban is there, its for those who cheat or leave the match cause they don't like the area, killer, or match. However all the times I have left a match has been because of my internet goes in and out sometimes and I get kicked from the game. I would understand a 10-15 minute, even a 30 minute ban.....but a 6 hour ban? I now have to wait to try and play again tomorrow for something I couldn't control.

There is an escalation system on the dc penalty/queue ban. If you do it once or twice in a given time frame it’s only 5 min. If you do it more often in a short period of time it gets higher and higher.

if it started at the first dc for you at 6 hours, you should contact support (or is someone else using your account??)

but since you already mentioned your internet has frequent problems it’s probably working as intended.

make sure you have a stable connection before queueing. Contact your provider if you actually have these problems frequently and its not on your end. If possible use Ethernet and not wireless connection to your router.

Keep in mind you are potentially destroying the matches for your teammates/opponents any time you have a dc

Today I have only been disconnected twice, once about 3-4 hours ago then again about 30 minutes ago.

As for my internet, it going in and out depends on things out of my control. I understand that this ruins the match for others but it's not my fault or in my control.

Again I understand why the ban is there, I just think 6 hours is a bit cruel.

It doesn’t reset after one day, so you probably also had dcs in the past few days.

it may be out of your control, but.. how would the servers know, and why should you not be punished but others should?

the penalty can go even higher btw (Highest is 48 I think? And after that it may even lead to harsher penalty’s). So if you can’t make sure to play with a stable connection I would suggest waiting it out for a couple of days..

Sorry for the rudeness, it just angered me. But I understand, I still think it's kinda a glitch or something since I have had worse internet days and only got 30 minute bans, the past two days have been ok with only a few disconnections.

Thank you for answering my question and again I am sorry for my rudeness.

Don’t worry i didn’t see any rudeness against me and I can understand that this is frustrating.
