Is the Block feature actually doing anything?

It used to at least show you another player as 'blocked' so you could dodge lobbies with them, but now not even that works anymore...

edit: What I mean is that it doesn't display 'block/unblock' anymore for quite a while now. Like before you had it that it said 'unblock' if you blocked someone and brought up the menu again, now it doesn't.

    Some ppl use that feature to block hackers. So if u would encounter that account again you would know its a hacker. Otherwise i dont see it having any use at all

    I believe it only blocks comms, and not matchmaking. If it did that too it would be abused heavily, with Nurses or Blights or any excellent killer not getting a match, not to mention known SWF groups.

    Blocking some one never stopped you from getting another game with them

    Ah, to clarify:

    For a while now (Twins patch?) it doesn't display 'unblock' anymore if I have someone blocked. I know it doesn't prevent matchmaking etc, but before it at least showed you that you had someone blocked when you brought up the menu for it.
