Why did behavior not add the built in BT to cages of atonement, it is quite annoying not having it.

This is more on the "complain about smal things side of questions" but why is the built in BT not on cages. I get messed up because my team mates will save in his face and I get punished for it. If you disagree comment why. Other then that thanks for looking.

Because it's built into 'hook' mechanics and cages mechanically act different. No 'on hook' killer perks (like BBQ & Chili) or 'unhook' perks work on cages.

In my opinion, I think it should get the base endurance/haste - just because it's consistent. Even though PH has to travel across the map to a cage, there's still a possibility you can just tunnel the person with the cage out as soon as they get uncaged.

It is part of Pyramid Head's special "passive" abilities; the ability to shut down Survivors hook related perks at the cost of not being able to use any of their hooks related perks if they choose to cage Survivors. It very usually comes into play, when you down a Survivor for the 2nd time and cage them instead of hooking them for maximum play to tunnel them of cage, as they would have no protection.

Of course, Survivors should learn to protect their teammates, especially when they been cage as it would make their life bit easier when "perk less"

BT has never worked with cages so I don't see why basekit BT would work with cages either. The whole point of the cages were to ignore hook related perks.

Besides, the cages already have some built-in anti-tunnel/camp functionality to them. PH can't see the aura, the cages go the furthest point away and if he stays too close (Arguably the distance could be a big larger) then the cages teleport somewhere else.

If they did, Id expect them to let him use Hook perks with cages as well.

    So lets not
