An extremely simple solution to fixing pinhead against soloq
One of the biggest problems I have in this game is going against pinhead. Aside from the fact that he has a power that requires no interaction with the killer, he is also incredibly oppressive against soloq for this simple fact alone: Soloq does not have enough information.
So instead of complaining about pinhead, I've devised a solution to this problem. It's very simple:
When a survivor is within 32 meters of the lament configuration (while it is on the ground), their aura is revealed to all other survivors. This aura cannot be boosted by open-handed, but can be stopped with blindness status.
This change would, at the very least, make playing against pinhead in soloq more bearable, and would not give swfs any additional advantage, given that they already have this information in the first place. It would allow soloq survivors to know whether they should go for the box, or stay on the gen. To compensate, they could revert the iridescent lament configuration's aura range back to 16 meters (or maybe lowered to just 20), since survivors would be able to see the general area of the box anyway, if someone were in range.
Overall I think this change would be healthy for the game, giving soloq survivors more information so that they can effectively counter pinhead's power, without giving swfs an additional edge.
