Some ideas to improve knight.
Power:
- Ability to cycle through and choose which guard to summon
- Having 2 options when summoning - manual or automatic
- Manual (hold down) - Exact same as current power except each guard behaves exact same in terms of speed/radius/info/time/interaction with survivors etc (interchangeable)
- Automatic (quick tap/barley slows knight or impairs vision) - Each summoned knight has unique predetermined behaviours/orders:
- - Carnifex - Finds the closest gen to him that has any % of progression, kicks it then leaves. Could be right next to him or completely across map. Doesn’t chase survivors, tiny radius (just enough for gen or breakable wall) so killer instinct triggers only if a survivor is right next to him, will kick breakable wall instead if quick summoned right next to one
- - Jailer - Goes to the closest gen then patrols all gens on the map from there. No time limit until chase or another auto guard is summoned. Medium/large radius with any survivor triggering killer instinct whether they’ve got his attention or not. If jailer finds a survivor, he chases them same as current
- - Assassin - When auto summoned he follows you with no radius but goes directly into chase as soon as the Knight himself enters chase with a survivor. Behaviour same as current chase. Possibly adds a status effect to survivor in chase.
- Ability to have 1 auto and 1 manual knight at any given time (not the same guard at the same time)
- Replace the bright green colour of his power with the default fire/ash animation/visual used throughout the rest of the game. More immersive for a medieval Knight. Keeps him more of a medieval knight rather than a spell caster mix.
- Have the guards kneeling to the Knight as they’re being summoned. Perhaps a unique animation (like bowing) before they evaporate as well. Gives them a bit more character like they’re taking and carrying out organised orders or something.
Anyway just spit balling ideas. There might be flaws to some of these ideas but it’s just some rough stuff and this seems like the right place to throw them out there.
